  1. The total bundle for me is $660. All libraries individually add up to $720 and I only have the freebies and the Gibson SG so that's only a saving of $40 on the whole bundle. There are a few new ones that I might go for but I wouldn't want everything.
  2. Yes, it's changed so much since the first version it is almost unrecognisable! Given such a long change request list it must be tricky for John and Shayne to decide where to focus their limited time and resources. They both seem to work exhausting schedules and yet John still brings out great library content such as MM Keys (also due out on Wednesday by the looks of it).
  3. Keep a lookout for v1.7 which should be out on Wednesday as this has some useful changes to make it easier to manage lots of Unified libraries. You can see the new features in the latest livestream (linked above). Not quite hierarchical but a step in the right direction. There's a sub-forum on the PG Forums for posting feature requests which might be a good place to start, although I'm sure that hierarchical library lists have already been requested. I'm also aware that the feature request/wish list is many pages long with just one dev to implement any change.
  4. My thoughts exactly Larry - I started wording an email to them along those lines and then thought "why bother, they'll be $20 or free soon on APD, PB, VSTBuzz etc".
  5. Yes, just discovered that also. Cannot be used on sale items. ? They also removed the $10 credit to upgrade from WS to WS pro.
  6. Their site is slow at the moment! Glad I waited for Wavesynth Pro EDIT: No I'm not - see below.
  7. Got it, phew. Will leave download until after the dust settles!
  8. Got it, thanks Larry ? 12 GBP inc VAT with rewards.
  9. I was less than impressed with Smart EQ 3 so not sure about this. Also, they don't seem to offer a lower upgrade price if you own any of their other plugins; it's still 65 Euros.
  10. Thanks Larry! Fleer was right! Best thing I ever did, getting the Total Bundle.
  11. I have updated the Dune 3 Unified Factory Library to include the 40 new factory patches in v3.5. Here's the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/j2gnfsd6zttiw3w/Unified - SA Dune 3.guru?dl=0 You just need to drag/drop the guru file onto Unify and it will update your Dune 3 Unified library. You need to own the full version of Unify and Dune 3 (updated to the latest version 3.5.1.2) to use this. Here are the names of the 40 extra patches: https://www.synapse-audio.com/dune/dune35new.txt Enjoy! (I have also sent these to John who will hopefully incorporate them into the official list on the PG website).
  12. Sounds pretty neat @abacab I gave VIP a go a while back but just never gelled with it for some reason. Shame that it's end of life or I would have had another look.
  13. The other biggie for me is the ease with which I can come up with killer patch combinations e.g start with a Unify patch, click and add a Hive patch, click and add a Zebra patch etc. Skippy demonstrates this a lot in his livestreams. This is probably what distinguishes it the most from any other DAW for me.
  14. I specifically didn't mention threads as the Unify manual only states that it makes use of individual cores on each layer. https://pluginguru.net/unify/manual/doku.php?id=overview If you want really technical details on it's inner workings probably best to ask the author Shayne Dunne.
  15. The big advantage of Unify over other similar things is that each layer can use a different core in your cpu. So, for example, an 8 layer sound in Omnisphere might stress your CPU, whereas a similar patch in Unify would use different cores for each layer and potentially reduce the cpu load. There are a whole load of other benefits which I won't repeat here. Just watch some of Skippy's livestreams to get the gist.
  16. Try the demo @Zo, you might be convinced! https://www.pluginguru.com/products/unify-demo/
  17. Yes, I'm beta testing and it's looking good.
  18. That reminds me; I Unified quite a few on that list and some of the original libraries have been updated so the Unified libraries need updating to reflect the changes. e.g. new patches in the latest Dune 3. There are also quite a few other 3rd party libraries that I and others have Unified. I posted quite a few on their forum e.g. Ultra Analog VA-3, Swatches 1.5.2, Super-8, Lounge Lizard EP-4, UVI Synth Anthology 3 and some I have still to post. You can find these and others here https://forums.pluginguru.com/unify-patchbook/ and here https://forums.pluginguru.com/unify-share/

  20. Also, if you own a previous Wavesynth you can upgrade to Wavesynth Pro for $29 ($10 reduction in cart). This comes with Wavesynth: The Classic library, VHS Cinema and Glow.
  21. Phase Plant Content Banks are also currently half price on the Kilohearts website https://kilohearts.com/banks
  22. Also if you own a previous Wavesynth you can upgrade to Wavesynth Pro for $29 (also save $10). This comes with Wavesynth: The Classic library, VHS Cinema and Glow.
  23. Pretty great prices, thanks Larry! I'm using Amp Room a lot at the moment. Tempted by Model 72 (downloading the demo).
