I was going to point out. Last few BF, the deals leading up to BF were better than the BF deals themselves. And I am not just talking about IK.

I think the marketers have figured out that there are lots of uniformed buyers who will buy on BF just because it's BF. So they don't give the deals that they use to give.

...or that Black Friday is saturated.     Our Krazy Deals might top some BF deals but we should have some nice surprises in there on Black Friday too.

I love this plugin, and am very grateful,  but I also appreciate the email from APD telling me that I got $0 added to my Rewards Balance with this purchase!  ?

Really?  I got one that said I received $20 in rewards for a free plugin (didn't have an account with APD nor did I have an Eventide account surprisingly).  Looks like you can use $5 at a time by the way, if you weren't aware.

For me it was a smooth process even though I had neither accounts required.  I did have an iLok account and that appears to have gone smoothly.  I believe that it also stated you don't need to use an iLok USB licenser but you'd have to use their soft-licenser if you didn't have the USB key.

This looks interesting, seems to work pretty well.  However, I really can do a lot of this straight up within Cubase (which is a comment I had read elsewhere about it, claiming Cubase's VariAudio sounded better but I can't yet speak to that aspect) but I still think this approach is different and seems friendly to use so far.

I do wish APD had inserted some line breaks in that email, finding the serial and key information took me a little bit longer than I'd like to admit being that they were all smashed together in the text block but once I got over that hump it worked well for me.  Sorry to hear about others having trouble.

Looking at the Sampletank 4 comparison chart here https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/include/st4/soundlist/SampleTank_4_comparison.pdf, I see there are some sounds from Sampletank 2 XL included in the Sampletank 4 SE row. Are they included in the Sampletank 4 SE Sounds Download or only if you have Sampletank 2 XL in the account?

The included sounds will be in the installers found in the dropdown for SampleTank 4 SE.

  4. This list breaks down by set, SampleTank 4 MAX includes Miroslav Philharmonik 2 CE and Total Studio 2 MAX would include Miroslav Philharmonik 2  https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/include/st4/soundlist/SampleTank_4_MAX_Instruments.pdf

It is linked where the other one Simeon posted is linked (the "Sounds" subnavigation on the SampleTank 4 MAX page):  https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/st4/#sounds

Edit, no slight on Simeon of course - I frequently post these PDFs directly and I realize I should also post the link where they are actually found :)

  5. For keyswitching, I use our iRig Keys Mini with iRig Keys I/O 49 as the main on my recording desk setup for writing most times.  When I want weighted keys I use my Clavinova like yours (though I don't remember the model number) which I do enjoy but honestly I don't frequently need that feel (I try to use it for piano VIs and similar, mostly).

  6. It will likely interest some here that we just updated our Catalina statement and existing FAQ (as well as adding a new FAQ for specific software installations).

The following macOS 10.15 Catalina compatible application updates are in your IK User Area:  AXE I/O Control Panel 1.1b, Custom Shop 1.9, and Authorization Manager 1.0.27.

For those with a fresh Catalina installation or who are installing these applications for the first time we've included an FAQ to assist:  SampleTank 4, Hammond B-3X, and UNO Drum Editor.

My only wish is the handling of account and licences ..i have too much stuff lol at least for exemple if you own every tracks stuff , away to put tracks Max and take off indiv licences

Purchasing singles individually and in many cases over time is not the same as purchasing a bundle like T-RackS 5 MAX.  There are benefits to buying all at the same time in T-RackS 5 MAX, so choosing to purchase individually over a period of time is indeed not the same as buying the full package at one time so we don't (similar to others) don't typically change a group of individual items into a bundle retroactively.

@Peter - IK Multimedia   In the promotion of IO/25 or IO/49 can I get the boxed version of Max even if I have to pay for shipping?

The free plugins are digital download.  The USB versions are $30 more plus shipping and we are not able to make such substitutions in this promotion at this time.  Edit - but I'll pass along this scenario to the team even if only to cover the possibility in the future.

It would be for home  use only for me as an extra controller.

It doesn't use Micro-USB but even if it did, we have people using our units that do quite heavily without issue.  Just like millions of Android devices have for many years.

They're junk.    I never buy an interface that uses micro USB.  Those ports have short life span.

    1. iRig Keys I/O don't use Micro-USB.  Never have.

    2. Our devices that do have been used heavily by many for years without an issue.  If you experienced and issue with any of our devices that do, the team would gladly take care of the issue.

  11. B-3X isn't taking up a huge amount of resources here and people reporting things like 30-40% CPU are definitely experiencing an issue that can be resolved as most are running far better than that by a good bit.

Anyway, Hammond B-3X is definitely a contender.  Since it is subjective, OP can always try the demo at https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/hammondb3x/index.php?p=demo and try the official Hammond B3 plugin to see if they, too, agree it is the one that deserves to have the actual Hammond name on it.

What I like more in IK leslie it's the subtle grit sound of vintage tubes when the overdrive is just breaking in, I think IK has got this better than Blue3.

This.  If one doesn't prefer the AmpliTube-based overdrive or other effects in the presets, they should try using the Leslie modeling (or other gear available).  The presets are just a starting point.  The magic happens when you manipulate Hammond B-3X and make it your own B3.

I think in time people will have an opportunity to explore Hammond B-3X and have that "eureka moment" understanding just how much it is like a B3.  Note that Erik Norlander is the man deeply involved in this project and he most certainly knows what a properly-maintained B3 is supposed to sound and react like, as he's had B3 as part of his arsenal for years.  He's also noted many times how particular he is about the upkeep of his instruments - it's incredible how much attention (and probably money) he spends making sure his keyboard instruments are maintained to perfection.

    UIKG for Prez !

Of IK?   Of a smuggling ring?  Any successful business?  Those would be much more enticing than being prez of my country (United States) because that's just a terribly stressful job that seems to age people 10:1 no matter what you think of whoever is currently in office.  Universally a crappy job to have IMHO but I guess there are plenty who want it :)

Wow., so I have another plugin to select... It's a pity I already have everything I wanted...

IKM, can you please create some new modules to T-RackS?  :D

Working on it!  I'm still trying my best to get Rockman and ADA MP-1 into AmpliTube pronto, though, as a priority.

And where is the 11th free? Where is Fleer? ?

I did not hear!  Fleer's not here?   Oh dear.  When he arrives it's time for some Fleeriday cheer!

Edit:  But never fear, Fleer will be here to cavort with his peers (and perhaps share some beers?), about this I am sincere and to those convictions I shall adhere.
