Wait  has this been extended? This is turning into a verse from(Paul Simon's) Graceland.

Yes.  :)  Through September 30th.  With two new tiers added.  Resistance is futile.

Ubiquitous IK Guy -  I'm usually really bad with acronyms. Should I be worried that I am somehow understanding Fleer's?  :)

Spot on.  Even better because it is a holdover from the previous forum, as I'm obviously Peter on the current forum not just "IK Multimedia".

I guess I will always be Underwear In Kitchen, Glowing in Fleer's heart.

Hi Peter, Does IK honor qualifying hardware purchases from outside vendors made before the "Group Buy "expiration but not received?  I tried contacting support but no conformation or reply.

Send me your Ticket # in a PM and I'll flag your case to support.  If you can't get registered in time, to  help them look into your case, make sure to send them your receipt showing purchase within the Group Buy period.

Definitely get your ticket number to Ryan regardless of the fact that we did end up extending this so you should have no problem.   He can have someone look at your ticket htough, if you didn't get a reply within 1-2 business days (note that Monday - yesterday - was a holiday).

    21 hours ago, TheSteven said:

I don't expect this # to change until they've updated their system to allocate everyone's freebies.
Then we'll see it jump to 0 to go.

The counter isn't manually updated.  When I say it isn't real-time I mean that it doesn't update with every single registration but is automatically updated multiple times a day.

    We have made history!!

Not yet technically, outside of the differences in this group buy we have gone 10x1 in a previous group buy so the end game of this one is probably the literal way to make history unfortunately.

Rather than miss out on the GB I just went ahead and ordered the AXE I/O from IKM at normal price minus (reduced) jampoints.

However, I don't see any GB option in my account (User Area - Promotions) so how does that happen? I thought if I bought direct from IKM then the GB would automatically appear in my account ? Hopefully Peter can help?

    6 hours ago, arnoldoo said:

You should receive a code with your buy,  I guess. You have to paste that code in the authorization manager and your plugs will appear inmediatly

If you didn't received any code, submit a support ticket telling your issue and they should fix it sooner or later. As peter stated, they will honor the GB if you buy hardware within the GB date.  Don't worry :D

Correct, you need to receive and register your hardware then you get your freebie choices.  With the extension this should no longer be an issue though.

    6 hours ago, ZincT said:

    Thanks for the reply arnoldoo.

I left it until the last minute in case the Labor Day sale price was suddenly available for those buying in Europe but alas that was not the case. However, it was easy to justify by thinking about the extraordinary value added by all of those Group Buy products. I have contacted Peter and opened a support ticket so ??

That's no problem, even without the extension we'd have taken care of you.

When you get your AXE I/O you'll get a serial number in the box. Register this online (https://www.ikmultimedia.com/registration/) or in the Authorization Manager (https://www.ikmultimedia.com/authorizationmanager/) to unlock your entry into the Group Buy.

    This as above.

Good question. The IKM site says “ August 2nd through September 3rd 2019,” which to my little mind would mean through the entirety of Sept 3. Of course, one would question  in which time zone does Sept 3 officially end?  ?

Through September 3rd, we usually will give a little "grace" time and end these when the Italian office opens in the morning the next day.

Could IKM make it possible to pick just the software as a GB freebie and let us pay extra for the mic and shipping? Thx.

Unfortunately this would not be possible to implement during this running promotion.  I will make sure it is considered for future promotions though!

Why is ARC not available for freebie selection? Is it because it has hardware?

Yes, ARC System 2.5 includes the MEMS microphone and is a shipped item that includes hardware.  It is a qualifying product but not a choice for free items as the group buy freebies are specified as download-only software items.  Thanks!

Quite an amazing Group Buy, I must say.

If you start with a $149 plugin purchase like the Fender 2 Pack (which you can buy for half that price at JRR as our King found out) then your first freebie could be the T-RackS 5 bundle which, on its own, contains 9 plugins you would have selected as individual freebies in a regular IK Group Buy, hence rapidly filling up your free slots. I’m talking about high quality plugins like Dyna-Mu, Master Match, EQual and ONE. During last year’s Group Buy you’d have to commit four freebie slots of $99 each, only for them.

In the current Group Buy a $149 valued freebie slot gets you all nine in T-RackS 5.

    Way to go, UIKG.

Hey, I do what I can.  Apparently including pretending to not be a volunteer/intern :)  But seriously, I am definitely happy that T-RackS 5 is in this Group Buy and feel that if you're not after Lurssen Mastering Console or any of the hardware (and you don't have T-RacksS 5, or the processors within) it is a great entry point into this Group Buy.

    4 hours ago, Fleer said:

IIRC the Meter plug-in in the Custom Shop version is indeed restricted. You either need to get the Meter (as a freebie) or the T-RackS5 bundle (also as a freebie, but of higher value) to have the full Meter.

Right, the full metering is available as a single or within T-RackS 5 which with its multiple processors and other benefits is like getting four for one as just ONE of your slots!  So, I suppose if that's factored in (plus the new concepts of both T-RackS and AmpliTube included and first-ever inclusion of hardware as qualifiers) this probably is indeed the best IK Group Buy ever.  But hit that next goal and let's leave any question about that behind as we move forward.

  11. This isn't an intro price, nor do we forego logic for any changes we do make (we don't pump up prices before a promotion just to lower it more drastically as some may do, for example).  Note that promotions, emails,  etc will state the following as errors do sometimes occur:

All purchases from the IK online store are subject to VAT in the EU and may vary by country. Although IK strives to provide accurate product and pricing information, unintentional pricing or typographical errors may occur. IK reserves the right to correct, change or update information such as pricing, availability and product descriptions, at any time without notice.

I've been away over the bank holiday and wondering whether I left it too late ☹️ I am hovering over the buy button for AXE I/O (approx 278 GBP inc VAT and max jampoints) to get the GB deal which would pretty much complete my IK collection ?

I could sell my existing interface for around 80 to 100 GBP so effective cost is around 200 GBP for AXE I/O, T-Racks Leslie, AT Dimebag Collection, AT Leslie, AT Mesa Boogie, Tape Machine 24, Tape Machine 80, Tape Machine 99, Tape Machine 440.

Only thing is I think I have left it too late to buy and register the AXE I/O before 31st August. Does anyone know whether I can buy it now from IK and register it straight away for the Group Buy or do I have to wait until it physically arrives?

You will be fine, we'll have a reasonable grace period to help with this sort of situation, and we've also extended the Group Buy through September 3rd to help in general too.

I saw that too.  I was eying that and it jumped from $99 to $149 in the middle of a sale?  What's up with that?

This will go down in history as the best GB eva!! Buy one get eight free!!??

We'll get there, and maybe beyond if we push hard enough!  Noting that there have been higher tiers in the past, this is still the first group buy with both AmpliTube and T-RackS and the first ever with hardware qualifiers.  You're welcome ;)  OK, I'm not 100% responsible but had a  say/part.

  13. I believe the only subscription they have is for the monthly gaming bundle.  For me those are too hit and miss, but to be fair my backlog of games is huge so I also just don't need it to get a bunch of games each month that I might play next year etc.

I screwed up and bought an item from the custom shop with gear credits. I guess I should have read the fine print. You can purchase with gear credits in the online store but not in the custom shop. This excludes me from the group buy over $6.50....ouch! I'm out.

    Rocky

According to the Pick & Mix Group Buy page, Custom Shop purchases count.  If you've purchased a qualifying product (from the list on the Pick & Mix Group Buy page) and don't see your choices for free plugins under "Promotions" in your IK User Area, please let IK Support know at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support

They will be able to take a look directly at your account and figure out what's going on.

From Brian’s treble booster to his three-amp live setup and carefully curated effects selection, guitarists can enjoy new amp, cab and stompbox models in a convenient package, along with presets covering his celebrated discography. Each model was created with the supervision of Brian May and his long-time technical team, to carefully replicate his rig.

A key element of Brian’s distinct sound comes from his Red Special guitar that, famously, he hand built with his father in the 1960s from spare parts and household materials. Because the guitar is such an integral part of his rig, IK’s engineers went the extra mile to even create a new stompbox effect that helps simulate the Red Special’s tone and controls. This offers guitarists a more authentic musical experience that pays homage to this living legend.

What’s included in AmpliTube Brian May
Available in convenient desktop app and plug-in for any DAW, AmpliTube Brian May offers up to 11 new models including 2 amps, 3 cabinets, and up to 6 stompbox effects.

Included are unique offerings such as a new pedal modeling Brian’s Red Special guitar and a model of the one-of-a-kind, home-built “Deacy” Amp (with user adjustable battery power!) originally created by Queen bassist John Deacon, after modifying an old radio. Other highlights incorporate his famous triple-amp live setup; tone-shaping effects; and even a harmonizer for nailing those Queen stacked leads in a single take.

    QUEEN-2014_CS_17_color_r@2x.jpg
    Amplifiers
Based on the classic triple VOX® AC30™ setup, the BM 30 offers three amps with the effects chain in a Wet-Dry-Wet configuration to match Brian May’s iconic setup. The BM DK is a model of the small “Deacy” amp that became the trademark sound of many Queen songs.

    Cabinets
The 2x12 BM 30 Blue (named the 2x12 BM1 in the Brian May collection for iOS) is a triple cabinet based on the cab section of a VOX AC30 equipped with with Celestion™ Alnico Blue speakers. The 2x12 BM 30 H70 (2x12 BM2 in the Brian May collection for iOS) is with Celestion G12H Anniversary speakers. In addition, the 1x6 BM DK provides the cabinet section of the BM DK amp, featuring a 6” speaker.

    Stompboxes
The Red Special, created from a detailed study of Brian May’s famous guitar, helps add the unique tonality and controls of the Red Special itself. Based on the original KAT® Treble Booster, the Treble Booster enriches guitar tone similar to Brian May’s by boosting it before it reaches the amp.

May Wah was based on a rackmount Dunlop® Cry Baby® wah, modeled in the exact configurations Brian May uses to shape his tone, while the FOX Phaser was based on the unique and distinctive sound of the fOXX® Foot Phaser.

Star Gate is a noise gate that helps clean up the signal chain, minimizing the noise feeding Brian’s unique amp and pedal setup.

The iPhone and iPad version, the Brian May Collection (which is inside the existing AmpliTube app) also adds the 30 – a 30-band Graphic EQ, with +/- 15 dB boost per band and a+/- 15dB Level control, to help craft a more exact match of Brian’s tones. This pedal is already included for free in AmpliTube Custom Shop for Mac/PC.

    Discography presets
A full set of painstakingly created song-based discography presets were compiled by Jamie Humphries, guitarist for the official Queen stage production “We Will Rock You,” who has also performed with Queen and Brian May. These presets allow users to dial up their favorite Brian May tones instantly and were constructed under Brian’s personal supervision.

    Options, pricing and availability
AmpliTube Brian May (for Mac/PC) runs inside AmpliTube Custom Shop, a free download available to all. The new models are available now for purchase as a bundle from the Custom Shop, the IK Multimedia online store and from IK authorized dealers worldwide for $/€99.99 (excl. taxes).

No previous purchase of AmpliTube is required. The new models will show up as an optional purchase for existing users of AmpliTube 4 upon updating to the latest version.

The Brian May Collection (iPhone and iPad) is available via in-app purchase from within AmpliTube CS for iPhone or iPad, for $19.99. Individual models may also be purchased a la carte (Stomp FX - $3.99 each; amps - $6.99 each). All models are also part of IK’s All-In Bundle 2019 collection, which is available for in-app purchase.

Howdy Peter, you quoted me but didnt' say anything about my comment: I can buy 50 credits adding to my existing 45, I'd have 95, but the new Brian bundle is 99 creds or 100, how can I get those extra 4 or 5? Because buying creds is a fixed amount, right? 25, 50, 75, etc. And I wouldn't like to overspend.

My nickname on your site is Scarlettlol, if you could work some magic, that'd be great.

Oh I just noticed that!  Sorry.  We don't currently have an option to buy 55 or just the 5.  I can relay the requests to buy smaller amounts or "round up for purchase" and I'll also look to see if there's any other option.
