Looks like the VST is installed to the "C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins" folder. You have to add that folder to Cakewalk's VST Scan Paths in VST settings.

They're probably just focusing on Soundpaint. It seems like they're releasing new versions of all of their 8Dio libraries on Soundpaint. I don't think their 8Dio libraries sell much without big sales anyway now, they're getting old and there are a lot of newer and more attractive alternatives from other companies.
