  1. As a counterpoint to the glowing praise for Herman Miller chairs, my experience has been a little different. I ordered a Herman Miller chair from "madisonseating dot com" for $700 because of this thread. Here is the letter I sent to them after receiving my "new" chair. They sent me a new part which I installed. While I found the mesh perfectly comfortable, the plastic bar across the front of the seat was uncomfortable on the backs of my legs after awhile. Then, over the next few months I found the arms wouldn't keep their adjustments, the seat will lower over time and other issues I can't remember at the moment. Eventually one arm broke off. It just fell off because the adjustment pin sheered off. I got in contact with them again because they have a 10 year "guarantee". But in order for them to look at it, I need to find a box, pack it up, pay the shipping and a $95 one time fee for them to send it back - something like that. Other than telling them to f'off, my inclination is to cut my losses at this point and throw this $$ POS in the garbage. For what it's worth, my recommendation would be to buy local where you can sit in it and you know what you're buying. And especially, don't buy from this shop because their customer service is hard to get in contact with at best. Count me as a very unimpressed Herman Miller customer at best.
  2. Yeah, that $199 sale price is about 4x higher than where I'd start thinking about it. Don't get me wrong, while I'm intrigued and have HUGE respect for Bob, he's mixed some of my favorite records, but I'm also cheap... 🥸
  3. I've gotta say, UJam generally has great demos for their products. If I didn't already have this I'd buy it! 😁
  4. nevermind. 😕
  5. I've watched it for years because, well, B. Clearmountain. But it has never even approached a range I was tempted to buy. Same with this one, Phases... Sorry Bob.
  6. So true! I only have Spaces (which I got on sale) and the Soft Limit (which was FREE for a bit). The others have always been too expensive for me. I have to say I was a little disappointed in Spaces because I thought it would make my mixes sound like B. Clearmountain. It has an EQ for the verb which is cool and a DeEsser as well, which is extra cool. It's "magic" is blending the 3 reverbs, which are decent, but only the 3 is limiting. For some reason, I find I reach for others before this one, other than the Big Bottom preset for my kicks (sometimes). I am pleasantly surprised by the Soft Limit plugin and like it a lot. I use it mainly to smooth and de-harsh electrics and vocals.
  7. You don't. But this one is really good! 😁
  8. Now you're just being greedy.
  9. MAutoDynamicEQ, MAutoAlign and MAutoVolume are staples for me and pretty much on every mix… GREAT deal!
  10. Iirc, there's a checkbox in the Settings to "Make default for all Windows" or something like that.
  11. He's got a couple of other themes for other products too. https://satyatunes.com/seller/satYatunes
  12. What happened??
  13. ditto.
  14. It'll be interesting to see how that's dealt with. I don't remember a site actually telling its users there are shutting down. Just in case, I've gone through and copied all the plugins, instructions and serials for safe keeping.
  15. Last time I tried it, I found MDrumStrip to pretty pretty CPU intensive. That was a while ago, maybe it's gotten better?
  16. I find that UI very hard to understand... ?
  17. I was thinking it looks an awful lot like Track Spacer which is awesome.
  18. It looks old but insanely tweakable. Dan Worrall does such a great job demoing plugins!
  19. It was 19EU from Sonnox which ended up about $25. I'm OK sending the original Deva few $$ at this point. This video is a bit "salesy", but still a decent walk through with Mr. MixbuxTV.
  20. Dang, I just bought it from a Sonnox email for the same price. I wish I knew it was going to show up on PB. I looking for a purchase to pick up Frostbite. Oh well...
  21. I would be sooooo broke right now if UAD hadn't started in with the min spend coupons -- OR -- if they had kept sending me the $25 vouchers.... (Now I know to wait a couple of days to spend the $25 thank you coupons!)
  22. This is a great community, and thanks again to the Bandlab guys for giving us a place to keep hanging out!
  23. Yep, and if you just posted "PluginBoutique has some great deals", we might as well just go check out the PB site, which is what I used to do...
  24. I got the same reply from the UVI Support Bot.
