I just finished trying it. Yes, first time after opening, it was a little slow. Then I closed it. Re-opened and ran authorize, close and re-opened. After that it seems to launch much faster. So far I have't had a chance to really compare how it performs compared to the previous update, but I have had no issues so far. All is good.

yup. this ^^ I think with this GB, if you are already a customer, you gotta figure out how much do you really want these new effects plugins IKM have released in last 12 months. If you think you really need them and will use them, then I guess it's an okay deal. But for someone who already has almost all of T-Racks, you are getting screwed, as there isn't much you can use your freebies on other than accumulating a 2nd set of licenses of everything, which only you can use, as you won't be able to sell them anyways.

This sounds promising. One company I keep my eye on is Scuffham as i keep hearing good things. So looking at all these deals, I am starting to see a pattern. Any way to flip it, all these companies are trying to get about $100 from you. They are presenting it all in different ways, but that's basically what they are after. So I am waiting to see what Steinberg will come forward with in July, just in case.

arturia FX is looking like a contender to me

I have no issues with TRacks. It gets the job done. And Amplitube I use a lot. What would be nice of IKM for existing TRacks users is to maybe throw in other items we can pick from in the Amplitube or MODO collection. But then I understand, that sort goes contra to the TRacks GB promo campaign. @Peter - IK Multimedia I dont get the ARC System 3 in the GB. This is without the MEMS mic but the same price is with the MEMS mic outside the GB.

I think for me, if they included the new MODO DRUM 1.5, MODO BASS 2, TASCAM Tape Collection I might jump. But at this point, I have everything in TRacks already. So not much incentive.

I was reading the manuals and just noticed the watermarking blurbs. I rarely use Punish -- but good to know.

Damage 2 for $199 is you use your Komplete serial. Good for those that make cinematic music.
