The $5000 IKM Immersive.. monitor setup. !!! https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/iloudmtm/index.php?p=immersive But why is there no huge subwoofer under the chair behind your *****? There should be one there to hear the big boom boom. bass.
-
wow. nice freebie
-
so are the 3 new drums really worth $9 each?
-
I was at one point thinking of selling Lurrsen and then buying into this GB... but then when I saw the transfer fee's.. I was "forget it!" Hence why they post on KVR "account takeover". ?
-
oh..yes.. and this is why i have become buyer beware. i only get if i plan not to sell. hence i usually get hardware and get the software thrown in for free. ?

All I can say about sound in the teaser video is, it sounds good on its own, but in a mix, that would need to have everything below 1k removed from it
-
I don't have "Holy Grail" amps, hence why I use AT5.
-
I am dumb. I still don't get it. I think I will need to see more teaser videos.

I am still on MODO Drums 1 with 10 kits. This upgrade business is too confusing. Will wait until the next GB to get it free. I think if you have 1.0 full and upgrade to 1.5 SE, you in fact get then 1.5 full. The only difference is the 3 new kits. I think IKM approached this upgrade strategy a little wonky. They should have just release the expansions and an expansion bundle of 3 kits and called it that. Calling it 1.5 implies there are all these other new changes in MODO Drum which I dont think there are. (I may be wrong)

jail bait. !

you would be surprised what you don't hear. i recently joined the hearing aid old guys club. during my tests, it was revealed to me i don't hear most frequencies in the 6 to 8k range. (all those years of headbanging in clubs in my youth). i guess good if you are mixing rap and D&B, but not good for most other music. once you get hearing aids, you hear all the frequencies you are missing.. everything sounds really trebbly and like clicking glass .

thats not free and its not free jazz either. false advertising!!
-
yes, buy can you get it free with a Group Buy? I didn't think so. ?
-
AI my *****. They are taking the tonenet presets people are uploading and packaging them as presets based on tags mapped to familiar songs, artists and styles. ? ? ? ?
-
at least they included details of what they fixed.

I try to stay on top of this stuff. Its all an exercise in futility as you are basically running up a cliff. Basically, the amount of new music being released every day increases exponentially and there really is no cloud based service that can keep up with that. If you can't find you target market or "audience" in your direct geographic area where you share a community and are able to directly interact with them, you are a needle in a haystack on the internet. This is sort of where true talent shines through and a person who is able to pickup an instrument and showcase their musical talent to an audience can shine through. The rest of it is a bit like a lottery with really bad odds at maybe being able to one day make minimum wage slightly above poverty level income from making music. Its best to just consider it a hobby and treat it as a personal artistic release. The reality is, you are basically doing what old ladies do who like to paint flowers in their back wards. They will never become Picasso or Dali.. they will just be grandma who paints really cool little paintings.

IKM Pretty much gave it away in the last GB. Hence, why there is very little incentive to buy into it now. This deal only good for people that didn't get it last time. I am fairly sure a new one will be released.

I was trying the lite version this morning on a track. its kind of cool. sort of reminds me of the NI Play series synths. But yes, it does eat CPU like a sheep grazing the fields in fine hills of Scotland.
-
I now accept it as the norm of how the big players in the industry operate. tough there are exceptions such as Valhalla DSP who just charge what they charge.
-
I picked up GA5 and am now finally able to use the advanced features. I quite like the integration with the DAW. No issues so far.
-
I have had Pigments since it came out. I have yet to really use it. I tend to gravitate towards CS and Jup and Analog Lab which allows for a mish mash of different synths to get new sounds (sort of!).

Now I also see the upgrade offer in my products page. Not decisions.. decisions.
