For me, as a maschine user, its really handy. Its sort of allows lots of functionality of maschine but native to Cubase. Its a lot of clicking -- so I am learning various template tricks to try to save procedures.

I think it all depends what you are doing with it. For me , I am a Cubase user, and automating the complexity and velocity in GA is really great and saves me lots of time. I used to program drums manually, which now I know was a huge waste of time. That time could have been better spent working on chords or riffs. Is someone really gonna turn around and go, "oh wow. Man, that closed hi hat MIDI part thingy you did there really makes that song man!!!" Then from there, I can use the kits in GA or export the midi and replace with other kits. I don't know, maybe EZD and SD can do that better. I don't really know. Also, worth checking out doc for some of the expansions. I have GA SE and the Simon Phillips jazz drums which are excellent IMO. I will be getting this as I finally understand now why you need four slots in GA.

well, i will be finally getting GA. been using the GA SE version a lot lately. I finally understanding why you need the slots for 4 drums. That thing is amazing (for my needs anyway).

this is what i dont get. Did they release a whole new version? I am confused. I checked my Mixbox update version and it says 1.5.0 in the thing. So I have the latest one, right? The wording of their email marketing is very weird. The I read "the creation of 2 additional versions of MixBox for new users" I am interpreting it as there is a whole new version being created that is different from what already existed in the past.

i am really confused now. my price for Mixbox full is $49 when I add it to my cart. I am missing something? Did IKM release Mixbox 1.5 same as MODO Drum 1.5?

dont you guys pay duty of shipments from overseas? over here duty on a $1000 USD item will going to be pretty steep.

So I have never even used anything like this before. Can I assume, if you have that card in the DAW PC, you get all the UAD plugins for free and they all run off the card and basically don't use any local RAM system resources on the PC?

FWIW.. I don't use reverb that much but I do use Mixbox and will get these so I have access to those SSSR modules in Mixbox. Mixbox makes working with t-racks effects really easy and handy.
