  1. I don't see any problems in mod matrices for those programs. Used Rapture Pro to search for the names in the original DP program files. The devs will likely need to see the dump.
  2. I bought what is now called the MTotalFXBundle years ago. At the time, it was the most complete bundle, the only synth was MDrummer. Have received every FX since.
  3. When a documented feature seems missing such as the Surround preference settings chances are a workspace is running that does not have the feature. Either create a custom workspace or set the workspace menu to None.
  4. It also has SSL E and G type settings for the Quad Curve EQ along with the S-Type bus compressor.
  5. Activation must re renewed every six months. This was done automatically when the program was updated or on demand without updating using the refresh activation feature. The latest version of CbB does not require BA to update or re-activate. Program update and activation are now in the CbB help menu. Along with in-app activation, re-activation has been reworked to happen automatically, as needed, if an internet connection is available.
  6. Yes, the feature is called Quick Groups Read more about it here http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Mixing.43.html
  7. Try adding GeneralMidiSMFs=0 to the Options section in %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core\TTSSEQ.ini to see the data in the Event List view.
  8. When sharing devices with Windows and Cbb make sure the sample rates are the same. Above shows CbB is set to 48000. Windows must be set to the same sample rate.
  9. The PC4K Bus Compressor is part of the CbB distribution. The paid add-on PC modules have not been released by BandLab. To date, there has been no comment about their future.
  10. The Realtek ASIO driver is not good. The WASAPI modes are the best choice when running Win10 and using the internal sound chip ASIO4All may work too but try the WASAPI modes first.
  11. Reaktor is a modular environment containing effects and synths. In addition to a standalone version, it ships as effect and synth VST plug-ins which may be used inside CbB. It is also used as the runtime engine for several NI plug-ins sold separately such as MONARK, MOLEKULAR, REAKTOR PRISM and THE MOUTH.
  12. Fixed Any number of devices may be used as long as they share the same driver. Some manufacturers' ASIO drivers support multiple devices.
  13. Ins files contain instructions used by the DAW to communicate with physical hardware. They are not software emulations of the hardware.
  14. eLicenser and iLok cannot share a dongle. They are completely different products. Both offer alternatives to using dongles but it is up to the plug-in manufacturer to support these options.
  15. What audio interface drivers have been installed? Are there any registry entries in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASIO If there are, what are the names?
  16. When a documented feature seems missing such as the Video view chances are a workspace is running that does not have the feature. Either create a custom workspace or set the workspace menu to None.
  17. The drop out message has a code (16 in the image above) and a link to the help in the lower right. Click on the help and it opens this page http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=NewFeatures.53.html listing the codes, cause and action to take. In order to provide more assistance requires much more information about the hardware (PC specs and audio interface), OS, DAW version and setup info such as driver mode, interface buffer settings , the drop out code and details about the project.
  18. SoundToys use iLok copy protection but the dongle optional
  19. While they don't have a long history, the best prices for Cherry Audio have been during their two anniversary sales.
  20. Depends on the plug-in manufacturer. Many offer an option to download licenses to your PC None. But it does require installing the iLok License Manager. The installer for this product adds PACE license service to run in the background on the PC. Depends on what "seamless" means. Here are two ways I have seen manufacturers deliver their products. Buy, download and install a plug-in. As part of the purchase process or account creation the manufacturer asks for your iLok account name. Run iLok License Manager. Drag the license to your PC. This is done inside the iLok License Manager UI. and Buy, download and install a plug-in Get a code from the manufacturer via email Run ilok License Manager, supply the code and drag the license to your PC. Either way, after adding the plug-in and the license, the plug-in is ready to scan and use. The process is not much different than any other licensed software.
  21. Here is a discussion about installing versions of SONAR and CbB onto a new machine The key is to know what needs to be installed in order and what happens if they are not. The condensed version is advanced install using minimal installation of X2+X2a to get V-Vocal (there is an video in the thread about this) install at least the Platinum program using Cakewalk Command Center install CbB That is it for the items to install in order. Installing out of order usually means the most recent version of shared utilities is overwritten. The quick fix is uninstall and reinstall CbB. At your leisure and in no particular order run the Platinum plug-in installers and use the advanced install option for X3 and older as needed to pick up plug-ins as needed.
