A high end phone is not needed. You can get an unlocked BLU J6 for like $69.99 on Amazon. I've bought cables that cost more.

+1 This would be helpful, I think ther are other threads asking for it here

I don't think I know anyone without a smartphone or tablet except one very elderly relative in his 90's but they are very cheap now so there's no excuse.

Top 2 Most Wanted Missing Features of CBB
Mark Morgon-Shaw replied to Mark Morgon-Shaw's topic in Feedback Loop
Yes I understand , although this thread was meant for very popular requests that had been repeated multiple times - I don't think I have seen this one before. Personally I have never seen signal flow diagrams in a DAW ( maybe in some modular type synth plugins ) and I doubt I would find them useful for me or my workflow as I find the existing labels are good enough, but maybe start a new thread and see what others think. -

Just use your phone to activate the transport controls remotely

Top 2 Most Wanted Missing Features of CBB

I never use automation for this , I find it easier to just mult the chorus guitars to their own separate tracks and buss those separately to the verse guitars as it's often mre than just panning , they often need different EQ & FX too. Yes both of these are needed I agree. -
Every day's a school day - delete the thread ! My bad.

Yes - Does it already exist ?

When providing deliverables for TV production companies they need edits of a specified length i.e 15 or 30s as this is what fits into an Advertising slot When making these cutdowns it would be great to be able to see not only the default M:B:T view but also the H:MS:F ruler view at the same time

Yes. It's actually undo - redo. Which is unexpected I have asked previously for a larger font option as well. The larger font used when entering text is much better on my eyes, I would welcome a way to retain it. Normal

As far as I can tell, drag a track into a pre-existing folder that already has other tracks within it ( already has the + icon showing ) The folder then expands as the new track is deposited but the + icon remains - clicking it once returns it to a minus icon which can then be clicked as normal
-
I have noticed that the Folder track Open / Close seems regularly end up in the wrong state, so the folder is open but the button shows the + symbol. If I click it, it then changes to the minus symbol and I can then close it.

Thanks Noel. My suggestion would be to invert the new behaviour so a drag 'straight up' gives the full bar as per example B , and if you want to bring it in as per Example C you would then drag a little to right. You'd have the dual benefit of retaining the existing workflow but also incorporating the new method with a slight modification.

Great update, love the new nested folders. ....the only thing I'm not convinced about is the new folder dragging behaviour. =====snip ======= =====snip ======== It feels to me that it's made something that was very simple and intuitive, a bit awkward and potentially confusing. I use folders all the time so for me if I want to drop something inside a folder it seems natural it would look like this when I drag & drop..blue box all around ( Dragging the FX Folder into the Percs Folder ) Example A Or if I wanted to move the FX folder to be between the Keys and Percs Folder then it would be like this Example B Now hower to achive example B I have to remember slide the mouse over to the left until the blue line is all the way across. or I end up with the below Example C This feels somewhat awkward as it's not easy to keep the mouse in a straight line for how far left you have to slide it and every time I've used it I've veered off course which generally means I've ended up back at example A by accident and needed to course correct before releasing the mouse button. Previously it was super easy to drop things either in folders ( example A ) or between them ( example B ) but now it's somewhat less intuiitve to drop them in between and I'm not sure why the new method in Example C has been introduced as I think I'm right in saying it has the same net result as per Example A ? Unless I'm missing something ?

Something seems to have changed when freezing a VSTi. Instead of one contigious clip it's been split up every time ther's a some sort of gap . So this kick drum track ... Becomes this if frozen Which is not very handy as I froze it to enable me to zoom right in and align it exactly with the track below. So I tried selecting them all and using Bounce To Clip it didn't do anything and they remain fragmented.

This is another reason why it should have one otherwise Bandlab may lose those users once they have outgrown the App
