VU Meter and Dorrough. My two go-to plugins for gain staging. I really like Abbey Road Chambers specially for drumkits, and Non Linear Summer gives a very nice final touch to a mix. The rest of the stuff I have are useful, but not unique/irreplaceable

Was waiting for this one! ? insta-buy ?? -
I was waiting for this one to come out, hoping it would have the XT Tom Gate bundled in, which is one of the best out there. Very dissapointed it just has a standard gate ? I'll have to wait for sonnox drum gate to go on sale ?

I would recommend anyone interested in MAutoAlign to give it a thorough test before, especially if you plan to use it with drums.

SmartEQ 2 is my favorite EQ at this moment. can't wait for the launch
-
missed the sale ? Gojira will have to wait until the next one

Does anybody knows what has been updated in 3.4? I couldn't find any information in the website.

Is amplitube 5SE much better than Amplitube 4 MAX? How does it compare to Neural DSP, TH-U, Mercuriall, PA, Guitar Rig 6 and others? I have the code but did not redeem it yet.
-
same over here Amplitube 5 SE as well. edit: willing to trade for Soundradix AutoAlign
-
This is a very good EQ! It analyzes the sound source using general or specific algorithms, and will propose an adapted curve that you can then tweak to taste. Smart Comp and Smart Verb are also very good. They guy from the Snake Oil videos said "it's confusing. It's like the plugin knows exactly what I want to do..." ?
-
I already have it. If anyone is interested, I can give my redeem code

with MCompare you can use both.. rendered files and audio signals from other plugin instances, and you can define up to 16 comparison points in the chain. From what I could see MCompare is less practical for quick two points comparison, but very powerful if you want to test before after each plugin in a signal chain. Melda advertises it mostly for mastering or final mixes, probably because it takes some work to set up.
-
is it different / better / easier than Melda MCompare?

I am unable to get any usable results with MAutoAlign on drumkits. Looks like it's designed for aligning a single source with multiple mics (e.g. a guitar, or eventually in/out/far mics for a kick drum) but not multiple sources with multiple mics (nears, overheads, room). I purchased it blindly and I regret it now. To compare, I gave a try to SoundRadix AutoAlign following their instructions and it worked way better. Did not pull the trigger on it yet...

Hello, would it be OK to post it here (to avoid bombing Cakewalk support with e-mails asking for this)
