It is not a defense. It is a statement of fact. Your other points are legitimate though.

This is a legitamate point. My original comment was in response to the statement that you had to pay every year for updates. You don't.

This is getting old. I have a lot of Waves plugins and I have not paid every year for updates. For some reason, they continue to work perfectly fine. I am on Windows of course. But even then, you only need to WUP when Apple breaks Waves.
-
That is more data points than my single instance. I wonder what the issue is. Are you on Windows?
-
Strange. Vice is one of the six (now seven) that I own.
-
Interesting. So they are being rejected on plugin scanning? I just checked. I have 6 Beatmakers and the VST3s all show up in Reaper, Studio One, Bitwig, Cakewalk, and Waveform. Do you have a custom install of UJAM plugins?

You are repeating yourself:

I have never had any problems with these in any of the DAWs I own, including Reaper, and Studio One.

Previous purchasers of Hornet plugins got an email from Saverio thanking us for our past support and offering a free gift of a plugin of our choosing. All that was needed was to reply to the email and state which plugin we would like. I chose Sleek.

This sounds like a painful workflow to me. What I find Scaler good for is to sketch out a song quickly and to be able to try out different chords, voicings, and inversions. I also don't find the instruments that come with Scaler bloatware. I wouldn't use them in a final version of a song, but they are convenient to get an idea of what something might sound like without the tedium of having to open another plugin and set up the routing from Scaler to the plugin. 1 Gigabyte is really not much these days. Scaler is really about having the the things you describe above in a single tool that can be used in any DAW, not just Reaper. If you are happy with your workflow, more power to you; it is just not the way I would choose to work.

For me, Scaler 2 is worth it for $59, so yes it is worth it for $35.
-
Sort of. The KVR Point is applied before the XMASJULY10 code so the final price is $12.33 rather than the $12.23 it would be if it were the other way around. But who is going to quibble over a dime?

Arturia V-Collection 8 for $59.99 and FX Collection 2 for $49.99
Doug Rintoul replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
The FX Collection 2 is boxed. The V-Collection 8 states that a download code is sent in 1 - 2 days. I also think that last time this was offered, people outside North America were not able to purchase this. -
Likewise.

AMD Ryzen 7 is not supported? WHAT??? Weird thing is that Waves 14 says the same thing. I have not had any issues with Waves 14 on my Ryzen 7. -
Of course.
