Or you can just "have the tape rolling," as it were, every time.
More than once, I have nailed what would have been a keeper during a practice run so now I hit "record" first just in case.

You should have looked at the reviews before parting with your hard- earned $20.

What is the keyboard you are trying to use?

I don't care how scarred the backs of my hands get, I am not going to bite him back. Bad enough that I take a hit off the milkshake straw after he's licked it.
Eeeeewww, yuck! You know dogs lick their butts right?

It's well past time to leave 32-bit plugins behind.

Ugh.
All you can really do is make it worse....

No, I don't. Is Cakewalk touchier than other programs about seeing MIDI devices plugged into hubs?
Not CW, but the devices. I know that my Minilogue won't work plugged into a hub. It will show up but not work.

1- yesterday I've update my windows 11
And then cakewalk became unstable, even when I want to export .. it crashes
A few days ago, I created a new topic about crashing, but no one paid attention to me
Cakewalk crashes are Unbearable and there is no mini-dump that I want to send to cakewalk
please consider it
If everything worked fine before and the only thing that changed was the Windows update, then it must be the update.

That is, in audio tracks, the amount of hiss noise in cakewalk was more than in other daws
For example, my guitar and pedal board are connected to the sound card
And in equal conditions .. the amount of hiss that is produced in the cakewalk is - 52db
But in cubase and Studio One - 56db
And now consider if we have several audio tracks .. The total hiss production noise will be much more
Impossible. Cakewalk - or any other DAW for that matter - doesn't create any sound on it's own; it only reproduces what is put into it

You don't have it plugged into a USB hub, do you?
-
Whatever.
I've got music to make. Using plugins I don't have to fight with.

Eat ice cream it will cheer you up.
Well, people still use it as you can read. I do. It has samples you wont find any where else.
Damn. What crawled up your ***** and died?
I know some people still use it. I just said if it works for you, great. Otherwise its just not worth fighting with.
I don't like wasting time fighting with stuff. My time is extremely limited and therefore extremely valuable to me. I would rather spend it making music than wrestling with problematic software.
Like the ASIO4ALL you are so in love with. So many people have so many issues with it I can't in good conscience reccomend doing anything but leaving it behind as you get on with your life. Same with TTS1. Same with 32 bit abandonware plugins.

Cakewalk is not really intended as a live performance tool. It can be done, but it is less than optimal.

New to cakewalk software, reasonably novice with computer. I have Downloaded cakewalk software correctly, I believe. I can get to the recording screen OK, but cannot figure out how to start/stop/start/stop, etc. as I work my way thru the reading paragraphs. I want to do this BERFORE saving to the line below.
This would be covered in the documentation.

As always, I recommend not fighting with obsolete, no-longer-in-development plugins. Not worth the hassle.
If it works for you, then great. Drive on with your bad self.
I haven't used it in years. There's about
18, 263,982.3 better sounding options out there anyway.-
