FWIW, I am using a Focusrite 18i20 and don't seem to be experiencing this.

Samples, from Mike Shipley's personal library. So realistically, using a modern Kemper and drum software I should be able to at least match a studio album from 30+ years ago, or at least I thought..
You can, but you would also need Mutt Lange and Mike Shipley to go along with the software....
I've always considered that album the benchmark for overproduced pablum.
Yuck.
Def Leppard used to rock before that.

Drums too?

Right on.
I'll be damned if I let someone else's lack of cajones stop me. I'll find someone else even if I have to do it myself.

That's it. When you demand all or nothing, what you usually end up with is nothing.

There is a module available that is a VST host.

I have not yet been able to come up with anything through composed.

It seems really ill advised to have all your audio in one "global" folder. I think you could be courting disaster that way.

Abandonware. Move on.

The Realtek driver is absolute garbage.
Audio driver has nothing to do with MIDI so it can't be the keyboard.

Go to the "view" tab and see if they are unchecked.

All I really wanted was one song that sounded pro to me, I'm not a terrible songwriter, at least I don't think I am. Even if the song was complete crap it should still sound professional. It's not like I am using lesser equipment than some pro bands that do it themselves. I have heard some pretty terrible songs over the years that sound professional, so when people say it's all about the song that's not really true, at least to my ears. Maybe I am completely wrong, that's certainly possible.
That "professional" sound doesn't come from the gear. It comes from the skills.

You'll never write a great song if you're afraid to write a bad one.

Two-year-old dead thread about a plugin that, if not dead itself, is at least mortally wounded

You are saving it as a MIDI file instead of as a Cakewalk project.

Perhaps you should take a look at the documentation.

Is it my imagination or did I hear a little bit of Cure in there?
