  1. As someone with a degree in humor, I understand the difference between a statistical fallacy and a joke. I suspect Mr. Carlin did as well.
  2. I didn't like beer until I got to Germany and had real beer for the first time.
  3. Let this be a lesson to everyone who sees this.
  4. This forum is for Cakewalk. The BandLab app is an entirely different animal.
  5. Learn some basic keyboard playing skills. You can slow the tempo down as much as you need and clean up what you played if you have to or you can step record everything. God! I can't even imagine entering that many notes in the piano roll mouse click by mouse click! Just thinking about doing that gives me carpal tunnel.
  6. Getting it back is usually WAY easier than it was developing it in the first place.
  7. Because this is Texas, we had the traditional Perro Caliente with Melón de Agua and washed it down with some Cerveza del Raíz.
  8. What is this "retired" y'all are talking about?
  9. I agree with this as well. When you're new to something, you have no real way to know what you don't know. FYI, and for anyone else coming across this: these days manuals are almost exclusively found online.
  10. Well, its the 5th now and we're OK; we made it through.
  11. I think it is, quite frankly, stupid. In my former life, I used to be able to fix cars that no one else could because I would do RTFM first instead of after days of banging my head against the wall and throwing $$$$ of parts around. I even more than once had a colleague ask me for help after having torn a car apart trying to "fix" something that was a design feature! Of course, this forum would be considerably shorter if people would RTFM. The "songs" subforum might be a lot longer, though....

    Zero Audio

Except that this model uses ASIO4ALL and doesn't have a dedicated driver. Puts it out of the running. A couple steps up in the Behringer food chain gets a real ASIO driver. Nonsense. The number of ins & outs has nothing to do with the quality of the drivers.
  13. Why are you replying to a two-year-old one-post-wonder who hasn't been back since?

    Zero Audio

Not using a real audio interface that has real ASIO drivers. Even if you were using this Behringer interface you mentioned, you would constantly be fighting sync issues because it doesn't have a real ASIO driver. Sorry to say, but you should have done your research before spending your money.
  15. By using your ears? I mean, *****, how the hell did people ever manage to do this before do this before computers?
  16. 1:No. 2: Try the documentation.
  17. You can use the plugins in either.
  18. I know this isn't much help, but that is the #1 reason I don't bother with loops. Much faster to roll my own parts and I can get exactly what I want.
