Is Browser text the only thing added or is there more?
-
These are the smallest fonts in the entire GUI. A bigger font would make them easier to see. And maybe BOLD too. 1 or 2 points bigger would do it. Also make the Track View track numbers BOLD.

64 is actually up (OFF)... 1. Staff View - Click Pedal button, click ON and OFF points in the white box. (seems sketchy but works with some fiddling) 2. PRV - Controller Pane: click "+", enter "64 Pedal (sustain)", pick Draw tool, click ON points at 127 and OFF points at 0. (65-127=ON; 0-64=OFF) 3. Evernt List - Click time position where you want the event, click "+" at top left, double click Kind, select "Controller" & OK, double click Data, type "64" & ENTER. In the next column type 65-127=ON or 0-64=OFF. 4. Use outboard synth pedal to record ON & OFF points in real time.

Do so at your own risk and always make a backup of anything changed. TA - If you don't know how to do it, you probably won't. TA - It's really quite easy and straight forward. FWIW - Mixcraft, Samplitude, DP, and many other DAWs have open folders for their GUI files. No "hacking" required.

I have 2 interface outputs. CbB shows 2 MAIN fader strips in CV. Regardless of which output I use, MAIN1 fader's Left side reverts to -8.7 when I hit STOP. Locking L&R reverts both faders to -8.7. Moving it back & saving project doesn't fix. Also happens to certain VST instrument track faders. This affects the last 2 projects I'm working on and every new one I create.

Thanks Matthew. I had tried that one earlier but it didn't work. Does now. No hope for the 'Slider Background' tho. If only they'd replace the nonfunctioning entries (all the gray CV backgrounds became defunct when colored tracks were reintroduced) with the missing entries, we'd be good. EDIT- Didn't work because it requires a reboot (close/reopen) of CbB to take affect.

They seem too big for the small windows, and too white for darker themes. Please make them thinner and add to Theme Editor so they can be made darker.

When I set the 'Global > Zoom Fader' color to orange, it also changed the CV Assignable Controls sliders to orange. Then at one point after closing and reopening CbB the sliders reverted to default gray and I can't change them back. (Assignable Controls are displayed in the CV 'Options > FX' menu) Anyone else have similar issues?

Why do the Console View Send bus tracks... 1. position the Gain knob's Unity Gain at 3 o'clock instead of 12? 2. have an input PAN knob?

Well, if you had waited till I fixed my post.... Also, if one is responding to an immediate post, there's no need to quote them.

Not seeing the CV thing in 2018.11.

[Answered] Why Has the Old SONAR Forum Been Reduced to Just Two Pages?
sjoens replied to Larry Jones's question in Q&A
I can see them removing all but the main Sonar, Hardware, Software and Techniques forums as the rest of the forums will have no real significance in the future. -
Just a Heads UP but each time I log in the Cakewalk logo takes longer to display like something's trying to prevent it.

Cakewalk Bundle File Collaboration and Sharing

Or just burn your project folders to CD or thumb drive & Media mail it. Slow but safe. ? -
Will this make Bank/Patch changes easier for old KB's like mine that don't use standard B/P architecture? Sonar's INS files are life savers for this. Studio One has to be confangled a bit for it to work but some DAW's are totally clueless and can't do it.

Scroll bars shrinking and stretching when available window content changes is normal behavior in any Windows/Mac environment. In CbB the horizontal bar (at the bottom) never grows or shrinks when zooming in or out. The vertical one does. Common throughout the "X" series. I checked Sonar X1 and found neither one stretches.

(RESOLVED) Plug-in Manager painfully slow since 2018.11 update
sjoens replied to Ben Chase's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Plugin renaming is a big help especially with PI's like Kontakt that install 3 variants with the same name. -
Also, make sure each MIDI track is actually assigned to the intended softsynth. Sometimes I get confused when there's a lot of Dimensions loaded. Easy to do by SOLOing each MIDI track and seeing which softsynth solo button lights up. If it aint the one it should be then you've assigned it to the wrong one.
-
Long shot, but try setting each midi track to different midi channel and corresponding soft synth to same channel.

AND... Will this be normal behavior for each update cycle?
