Hi, thanks for taking time to read this....hope someone could help me. On my Windows 7, Cakewalk by Bandlab I cannot record (VST to Aux track) anymore in my project. Error message : Unable to save entire recording -- the audio disc may be full I try to find a AUD.INI file that I should delete (I guess)....but cannot find it. Maybe I need to do something else ? (have plenty free space on HD / RAM)

My 3 W7 machines are ok, they're usually not connected to intenet. For many years WindowsUpdate = disabled, no virus software...guess they cause most probs.

Same here, I'm guessing Japan, Australia, Scandinavia will be the first to benefit. I'll be gone by the time AI makes my country safe, happy and fun.

Emagine fe AI that analyzes results from data you enter and then starts making a plan to solve them. How awesome would it be if AI liberated us from all the problems caused by politicians fe ? In 20 years you'll vote and then AI makes a government plan to achieve what people voted for. Same with what's gonna be on your TV / Radio. You won't have to hear/watch Kanye West fe !

Er....machines centuries ago.....then computers....did things better than humans. Most problems on this planet start in people's heads, so it's a good idea to make a machine that delivers better results. imo. Technology is always gonna fall in wrong hands too, in every 100 humans or animals born there's gonna be a real bad one. Don't worry mate, you'll be AIing and enjoying it same as your car, tv, computer, tools etc. I get it people are worried since the world is not so nice these days, I'm worrying about things a lot too....not AI though.

+1 Though at XLN they built a pretty awesome manager (hey...did I just type 'awesome manager'?) It checks if plugins work....then if needed repairs install with 1 mouseclick.

I just have budget dektop pc's...1 step up from the cheap models. 1 fried long ago but could fix it by installing a video card in the back. I expect dust/dirt in combination with constant maxed out cooler running caused the cooking. Since then I clean it every year and have a standard working cooler...all is good. I should be good for next 30 years / till my 80's Only spectacular DAW improvements would make me get new computer.

Thanks John, I bought new Kingston RAM for my 3 old computers, they have reasonable SSD and 2 TB storage each. If I get it all working, I should be ok for the remainder of my time maybe Don't know ofcourse if there's any software coming in future, but hoping I can stay with my machines..

Am I wong thinking McAffee installed software to make my laptop slower....at the end of my 1 year contract ? Had this several times untill years ago I removed all McAffee.. Just curious...
