  1. Here's the method I use (adding them to the Kontakt Factory Library). Great tip from In Session Audio.
  2. Don't have it in hand yet (ships tomorrow), but I bought a laptop to replace my early 2012 Dell XPS8500. I bought a Lenovo ThinkPad P17, spec'd as follows: Configuration Details ● Processor: 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i9-10885H Processor with vPro™ (2.40 GHz, up to 5.30 GHz with Turbo Boost, 8 Cores, 16 Threads, 16 MB Cache) ● Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64 ● Display Type: 17.3" UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS, anti-glare with Dolby Vision™, HDR 400, 500 nits ● Memory: 32 GB DDR4 2933MHz (2 x 16 GB) ● Hard Drive: 1 TB PCIe SSD ● Warranty: 1 Year Depot or Carry-in ● AC Adapter: 230W ● Graphics: NVIDIA® Quadro® RTX™ 3000 6GB ● Camera: IR & 720p HD ● Fingerprint Reader: Fingerprint Reader ● Keyboard: Backlit with Number Pad - US English ● Wireless: Intel® Wi-Fi 6™ AX201 802.11AX (2 x 2) & Bluetooth® 5.1 with vPro™ $4829 list. Sale price $2799 direct (sale ends tomorrow, 12/30). I added the Thunderbolt 3 dock ($420 list). With an additional $400+ senior discount, I bought both for just under $3000, tax included! Then I went nuts and bought a Samsung 2 TB X5 Thunderbolt 3 drive (for samples), 2 Samsung 2 TB X7 USB 3.2 drives (one for Documents folder and one for my ripped CD collection), and a Pioneer 4K blu-ray/DVD player/burner. Merry Christmas to me, and to everyone of you!
  3. One other note. When I first started Native Access, it kept failing, trying to download an update. I had to d/l the latest installer from the NI website and run it over my current install, but after that, it started up fine, and there was Yangqin. Maybe you need the latest version of Native Access for some reason? IDK.
  4. Yes. Added 30-60 minutes ago. They were saying up to 24 hours to get added, so 1 hour isn't bad. Just d/l'd and installed. Haven't tried it yet.
  5. 1) That's why I'm skipping this "upgrade". 2) BTW, my copy of AT4 Max did NOT include the SVX 2 pack. I had to buy that separately. See #1.
  6. Picked this up for SD3 mostly for its MIDI, to go with the Reggae MIDI drum and keys packs I already have. It requires EZDrummer v2.4 or greater, so it's a 24-bit library.
  7. ? You got one of the few! There's also one (Blues EZX MIDI Pack) where they pulled the MIDI out of the EZX and sell it separately, to complement the Blues MIDI Pack (I have both).
  8. Not entirely correct. The MIDI expansions are just that...expansions of the MIDI grooves that are included in the EZX. From Toontrack: Unless stated as otherwise, all MIDI packs contain unique MIDI that isn’t duplicate or repeated anywhere else in any other MIDI pack or EZX or SDX. Unless you see a disclaimer like the following on the MIDI expansion pack description, they're all unique grooves.
  9. On the standalone version (I didn't load Studio One to test the VST): File | Preferences | User Interface | Look I changed it from Default to High Contrast 1. Much easier to see. High Contrast 2 grays things out a bit. I prefer 1. The Dimmed setting is also too light for me.
  10. How are their other products? Super! I use Strum the least. LOVE Lounge Lizard and Chromaphone the most! LL is wonderfully playable. Very responsive. No velocity layers (as in sampled VIs). Full velocity range.
  11. For me? Nothing. Already own the bundle!
  12. This means the 2021 version is right around the corner. My current preference for video editors. I'll never touch another Cyberlink app again, ever. But pass on their offers for PaintShop Pro. The Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo pair are way better. And less expensive.
  13. Just got their email. Clicked on the link and downloaded OK. All good now!
  14. Checking for updated in Melodyne is currently returning an error (no Internet), which I of course have, since I'm posting this message.
  15. Good price. Love my 880's for mixing. Waiting for a good price on a closed-back 770 for tracking.
  16. If you're going to use it regularly, go ahead. I wasn't, and that's too many GBs of drive space to waste. Plus, I'm getting rid of all the other iZotope stuff I have installed (nothing expensive). Too many issues with too many different plugin scanners. Especially with DDLY.
  17. Thanks for posting this. It reminded me to uninstall it.
  18. I have a 16x08...sitting in a closet. Too many driver issues after upgrading Win7 to Win10. I'm now on Win10 20H2. How stable is the current driver? TIA!
  19. The last couple of times I tried JRR Shop, I couldn't even get the home page, so I just bought the upgrade direct from AAS.
  20. Note that this VST also include Tape Multitrack, for use in Studio One.
  21. Run the Product Manager to update. Release notes: Song Creator Clicking on a Song Structure could lead to a crash. Using a “Replace … on Track” function could lead to a crash. Song Track Using “Change Tempo” to increase the tempo in a song block caused a crash. Edit Play Style Changing Amount for a future hit instrument (shaker/tambourine) could lead to a crash. Known Issue On Windows 7 with a non-aero theme in use, tooltips may not work well – they are not displayed properly or they don’t always go away when they should.
  22. Funny that. I'd forgotten all about v2 being a physical copy when I stumbled on mine yesterday...and tossed it in the trash bin.
