Welp, I do have to admit that it's highly likely for me to misremember something. ?

The app update for me was for EZMix 2 to v2.2.4 from v2.1.5, the first update in almost 3 years. v1.1.2 of the PM is the latest. I think I got that update a couple of weeks ago.
-
No PM update for me, but EZMix 2 and four drum MIDI packs had updates.
-
This entire thread reminds of the the Vikings Valhalla episodes I watched on Netflix last night. ?

That's why I'm still on Komplete Ultimate v9, but have updated Kontakt over the years to v6 and now v7.

Dark Side of the Moon 50 Year Anniversary Offers
TheMaartian replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Father? More like grandfather for me. ? -
If the price is 420, it's definitely a sample collection cup. ??

This is really knuckleheaded on IKM's part. Most regular users of Amplitube will already have the amps/cabs/pedals they offer for free for completing surveys, so most respondents will be casual users of their free version...not the audience that will provide them with the most useful feedback. Just sayin'.

OK. I heard back from the dev. He has changed to documentation. It's not C0, C#0 D0, etc. It's the lowest C, C#, D that is recognized by the host. I shifted my NI S61 Mk II down two octaves and sent C-2, C#-2, D-2 etc to ChordPotion in Gig Performer. Those keys successfully changed the pages. I suspect that the same keys will work in Cakewalk. If not, try C-1, C#-1, etc. In Gig Performer, those are mapped to some CC actions by default. C-2 etc. worked for me.

I'm baaaaack!

I did a quick test in Gig Performer, using the Ripchord keyboard into the MIDI Monitor into ChordPotion and can confirm that sending (on MIDI Channel 1) C#0 does not change it to Page 2, D0 not to Page 3, etc. I sent an email to the dev (Hauke Menges) about the issue. I'll update this thread after he replies.

I loaded this up quickly in Gig Performer and liked the sound of the bottom octave. Nice find. It sounded best when I was able to fairly closely sync note changes to the sequencer.

Thanks. I forgot to add the link. I updated the original post before I saw yours.

Found that out. I only came across it today when I was downloading the update for GX-80. It's been out a couple of years. Always free. No reason really to show the $29 price crossed out.

Cherry Audio is giving away their Surrealistic MG-1 Plus synth. You only need to have/setup an account with them. Surrealistic MG-1 Plus The Fat and Funky Sound of the Electronics Super Store Legend! The fun and funky Surrealistic MG-1 Plus Synthesizer is a super authentic recreation of the Realistic MG-1 synthesizer sold in Radio Shack stores in the 80's. The Surrealistic MG-1 Plus delivers fat analog tone in spades, along with a unique polyphonic oscillator section, "bell tone" ring modulation, glide, auto repeat note triggering, oscillator sync, and a number of improvements that tremendously expand its capabilities. Best of all, it's absolutely FREE!

Downloaded and installed. Thanks for the heads-up!

Who knew at the time. I've seen him once, on The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway tour. The Dane County Coliseum in Madison, WI held about 8,500 in normal seating. They sold about 1,500 tickets for that show, so they set the stage up in the center of the floor, facing sideways. Everyone had a seat. No sitting on the floor in front of the stage. Much more intimate. They did the same thing for the next Genesis tour with Steve Hackett taking the lead (the one with the 100 or so 747 landing lights). It was also an excellent show. Genesis got too poppy for me after Hackett went solo (saw his excellent first solo show at the Park West in Chicago).

If you have a previous version of Komplete that includes a license for Absynth (a great old synth), don't lose it. It is no longer included in Komplete from v14. NI parted ways with the dev after 20+ years (not the dev's choice). Too bad. I hadn't installed Absynth on my new DAW, but went ahead when I heard the news.

Not really. Seems equivalent to Musician's Friend selling deeply discounted software with a physical delivery (a code on a slip of paper inside a DVD case). The software may not be obsolete, but it is out of date, superseded by a new version, which you have to pay extra for if you want a version that gets bug fixes and feature additions. That's where Mickeysoft gets you. I finally gave up on that model and did what MS wanted me to do all along...buy an Office 365 subscription. I use Word, Excel and Outlook. I was a heavy user of Powerpoint, but no longer need it. Never used Access or Publisher or the IMO bloody awful Note, or any other parts of the Pro Plus package. The sub price turned out to be less expensive than paying to update the three apps I still use.

kHs One was the only reason I had the Kilohearts manager installed. I deleted it (no uninstaller) and two of the kHs plugins that were installed is my VST Plugins folder that I never used and then went looking for leftover bits. I found a Kilohearts folder in C:\ProgramData and deleted that, as well. Adiós, muchachos.

There's a 14 minute tutorial video on the Resources page. It's not up yet in Arturia's channel on YouTube.

Yup. Downloaded. Installed. Activated. Thank you, Arturia! ?
