  1. Funny addition, right? Now you can be the first on your block. ? https://shop.abbeyroad.com/*/*/EMI-TG12345-Mixing-Console-Jigsaw-Puzzle/73ML0000000
  2. Wow! Thanks much! Will give me a great reason to dive into the Art Maps. Thanks again man.
  3. Do you happen to have the STEEL lap steel guitar? Thanks.
  4. Full disclosure: I'm a proud Beatles/Abbey Road geek! Plugins? Yeah, I got 'em. Currently reading "Solid State," about The Beatles bringing the band in for a bumpy landing during the Get Back/Let it Be/Abbey Road period... I got this in my email from Abbey Road (I'm on the mailing list) and just had to share b/c I thought it was hilarious! For the true Beatles fan/Abbey Road Studio geek on your gift list! An EMI TG12345 Mixing Console Jigsaw Puzzle. Whaaat??? Yes, boys and girls, you heard that right! From Abbey Road: "The TG desk, delivered to Abbey Road in 1968, was EMI’s first solid-state (i.e. transistorised console) and superseded the vacuum tube-based REDD range of desks. The TG was the first console to include a limiter/ compressor, EQ and metering for each channel, and the smooth, clean sound of the TG can be heard on legendary albums such as Abbey Road by The Beatles and The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. The Mk III TG12345 photographed for this puzzle, as well as a very similar Mk II version, are still available for use on recordings at Abbey Road today." Now, where did I put that vinyl cutting lathe???
  5. Thanks so much! Mystery solved. Are you seeing those icons on that Documentation page? My images indicate a broken link, so I'm not seeing those.
  6. This is the part in the first Star Wars movie where the Princess Leia hologram projected from R2D2 beseeches, "Help us, Obi Wan, you're the only one who..."
  7. What does it indicate when the icon on an instrument track in track view is tinted blue? Some are, some aren’t. Indicates a frozen track maybe? Can’t find anything on it doing a search. Thanks.
  8. Send audio out of EZB as DI (you get a wav file) to keep all the articulations and run through your favorite Bass VSTi and processing chain. I do this with IK Multimedia Ampeg rigs.
  9. I use this as well. And yeah, a ton of IR spaces, including actual venues like the Ryman in Nashville.
  10. Just downloaded the web installer. I once posted wondering how many users CbB had. If I can draw from this message I got (see graphic), the web installer has been downloaded 1.7 million times?? Even accounting for more than one download per person (for whatever reason), that's a big number... any conclusions/educated guesses that can be draw?
  11. I saw in a video for another DAW the ability to reverse a clip with a mouse click to two. In this case it was a cymbal crash; reversing it turns it into a smooth swell. Is there such a function in CbB? Thanks.
  12. Guess I should pay more attention to myself! ?
  13. I seem to be able to punch in MIDI pretty well using Sound On Sound setting. In my experience, you can punch in a hair early if that’s the issue. May have to tweak slightly in PRV.
  14. Would love to know how you accomplished it. Thanks!
  15. Thanks everyone! This was all great information. The snap values and (tiny) drawing at for "up" and "down" fixed my issue. I think I have it figured out! I've never used the event viewer, so that's all new territory...
  16. I'm trying to draw in with the draw tool Sustain Pedal down information in Measure 35. I don't want it in Measure 36. I click/drag to the end of the measure 35, then release. But the draw doesn't stop there, It draws in on its own in ALL the subsequent bars. Thinking maybe the Pedal down CC stays "on" until I turn it off, but I can't figure out how to do that in PRV. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
  17. Gotcha. And, for sure, everybody has their own way of working...
  18. This Impulse loader looks pretty nice from 3Sigma Audio. Includes 3 cabs. $20.
  19. Trying to understand... Re: "This only happens if one chooses to float views while using one monitor." Confused. I'm floating plugins on two monitors at the same time, not one. This is when the plugs on the second monitor duck behind the multidock I have open there with the Console View. "Leave the views in the multidock and dock the multidock." But, if I understand, you can then only have one thing opened in the multidock at a time. So, if I click on a docked plugin's tab, the Console disappears, until I click back to the Console tab? "The views may be resized, even maximized and the plug-ins will float on top of the views. Could you please explain what you mean by "views"? The clickable views tabbed in the multidock? Thanks.
  20. I hadn't seen these. Great stuff, thanks! So... the procedure for using IRs... do you put it first in an FX chain and then, say, an amp emulation, like Amplitube for example? I have Amplitube 5 and there is the ability to load in IRs. Strangely, I can't find a "how to use" on the 3 Sigma Audio website, which sells all sorts of them. https://www.3sigmaaudio.com/
