Softube Modular update has new sequencer module (no charge)

I have not yet installed the early access and am on 2020.01 build 28. I have no issues with the saturation knob in pro channel. I made a project with three tracks and inserted an instance of TSAR-1R on each track and on the Master Bus. In all cases the GUI for TSAR-1R was hidden behind the consul module and it could not be adjusted. The project saved OK but it crashes Cakewalk to the desktop when reloading. I don't have any other Softube pro-channel modules but It would appear its not related to the early release versions of 2020.04 -
Softube Modular update has new sequencer module (no charge)

Update - I have just been playing around with the step sequencer and its a lot of fun even in the basic patch I setup. It fulfills the role of a quick and easy to tune sequencer that was previously missing in Modular, you can certainly do TR303 type sequences and a whole lot more too. -
Run Softube Central to update for free. This sequencer can be used for TR303 type sequences with ties and slurs. There also a new module for sale Currently on a intro price of 29 Euros going to 39 later. https://www.softube.com/vermona-random-rhythm#/

For me installation of the upgrades was really easy, download a smallish file, unzip and run the appropriate installer. Job done, no reauthorization. The only thing that had me scratching my head was finding the utility menus to change the GUI size each synth is different so referring to documentation was required !

I nearly bought a second hand MonoPoly in the early 80s, it was several weeks wages and prudence got the better of me.
-
Might be what I hoped Amplesound's riffer would be... We will see.

I have successfully updated the 4 synths I have. First impressions are M1 has not changed a great deal apart for the sizable GIU, Wave Station has some browswe improvements. Mono Poly and particularly Poly Six have significant improvements to preset browsing and added effects. I am pretty happy with the update and its reminded me how good they sound, I had not used them in a while but that will change .

Given that Modo Bass is the only part of this I don't have already, or I am not that interested in I will pass, by the time you add VAT which almost cancels out the jam points.
-
I just installed it. It's rather weird but looks interesting, certainly one of those synths that does not conform to the usual paradigms.

Ms Amy Birks featuring Steve Hackett on guitar.

I recently received my crowdfunding copy Gigspanner Big Band's album "Natural Invention" Led by ex Steeleye Span fiddler Peter Knight a veritable English folk supergroup.
-
I see there is a SFZ file in the folder, so this will probably work on other players than Kontakt. I have not tried it.
-
Only NKS compatable libraries will appear in the Komplete Kontrol main browser. Not all Kontakt Player libraries are NKS compatable. You can create your own maps in the user tab. Check the Native Instruments forum, there were some useful tips there. Not sure about your other problems, but check midi channels are correct.

Great idea. But John Spires says it has been flagged by Youtube for copyright even though all the tunes are traditional.
-
If you are on the fence about upgrading you can demo any of the new synths without too may restrictions. I have been playing with the CZ and find I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

If you are lucky - I have several dead pieces of hardware. I am intending to try to resurrect my Korg Poly800 at some point as I believe the issue is a bad backup battery that was never designed to be replaced so it will need some soldering on the circuit board, not my strong point! I also have a Yamaha DX 100 that is dead, possibly a similar issue and a Roland XP-10 with a bad LCD that's not economically repairable. I do regret parting with my SH101 many years ago, I bet that would still work! One misses the tactile element of hardware but I am generally happy with software, particularly due to space considerations.

Bandcamp Waive fees for 24 Hours.

All round good operation as far as I can see, particularly for new and independent artists. Downloads are available in a number of formats, not just crappy low bitrate MP3s. I usually download 320mps MP3 for the phone and WAV for playing on the computer. They also offer an avenue for artists to sell physical CD and DVD and other merchandise. -
Are you using the MIDI to drive a different drum VSTi? There is a possibility drums in a pattern may be using alternative articulations mapped to different keys and not supported by the other VSTi. Edit_ you last post came through while I was typing so my idea now seems unlikley.

I posted this in The Coffee House but as its a deal of sorts I thought I would put a link here.

I have always thought Bandcamp were the good guys in the digital music market and now they have this initiative to help musicians that use their platform. To raise even more awareness around the pandemic’s impact on musicians everywhere, we’re waiving our revenue share on sales this Friday, March 20 (from midnight to midnight Pacific Time), and rallying the Bandcamp community to put much needed money directly into artists’ pockets Full details here https://daily.bandcamp.com/features/bandcamp-covid-19-fundraiser Obviously many people have their own financial worries at this time but if you are in the position to do it Friday 20th March would be a good day to treat yourself to some new music and help the artist. And if you have any content for sale on there it may be worth doing a bit of promotion. If you are unaware of their policies check the out here - They are defiantly not Spotify https://bandcamp.com/fair_trade_music_policy

Its certainty worth picking this up if you have any intrest in synths past pre-set tweaking. It can also be used as an effect. There is an ever growing range of modules if you get into it and prices for the add ons don't break the bank.

For a moment I thought maybe I should get this, then I came to my senses.
