  1. The only difference between the criminals and the police is the badge. I remember some notable person saying that, but I don't recall who.
  2. Pet shop? … well … How Much Is That Doggie In The Window — Patti Page
  3. I used to have a fear of hurdles, but I got over it.
  4. The 4 basic food groups Coffee Becan Chocolate Everything else.
  5. I think the end of humanity will be much sooner. We are already starting to have crop failures due to the warming planet, and corporate greed is doing next to nothing to stop the escalation. Personally, I'm glad I was born in my era. I got to see the USA when it was at its peak. Our products were the best in the world, even the German Chancellor drove a Cadillac. People left their keys in the ignition of their car, and didn't lock their doors. And most of all, anyone who had talent could make a living being a musician, playing 6 nights a week in singles bars. Now we are in the decline of our empire, but I get to see and use all the new inventions the digital revolution gave us, and I'll probably expire before the decline of the US is great enough to make my life miserable. I don't think the youth of today are as lucky.

  10. I Put A Spell On You — Screamin' Jay Hawkins But to tell you the truth, I like The Animals' version better
  11. Mine was, "Have Twangy Guitar, Will Travel". As much as I liked Mr. Eddy, the highlights for me were the sax players.

  13. Stranger In Paradise — From Kismet - this one from a young Tony Bennett
  14. Anything under 70 IMO is too cold for man or beast. But growing in Florida, before homes had AC, has me used to warm temperatures. Notes ♫
  15. When I worked on the cruise ships, I'd go to a record/CD store in Miami to get new music. The owner had two of those Beatles Meat albums still in the original shrink wrap. He was asking thousands for them. He also had the complete Charlie Parker records on the Dial label. They were used, but he said the complete collection was worth much more than the butcher covers. I have Led Zeppelin I, before they gave the real authors songwriting credits. It's pretty scratched up, so I doubt it's worth much. But I've never been much of a collector for investment's sake. I'm just a hoarder, and don't like to throw out much. Notes ♫
  16. One nice thing about the USA, is there is a climate for just about every type. I love Florida, and don't even use the Air Conditioner in the summer. I painted the roof white, and planted shade trees around the house, but not over the roof. The white roof reflects the hot air up, and the cooler air from under the trees come in to replace it. It seldom gets over 80F in my house, no matter how hot it is outside.
  17. Rock n Roll's very first Guitar Hero has gone to the great gig in the sky.
  18. No, you don't have to like the song, you can even hate it, there just needs to be an association. Here's an example: Jam Up and Jelly Tight — Tommy Roe
