I'd like to be buried at sea. Let the crabs have something to eat instead of burning me in a fire or enclosing me in a box. I figure I'll have no more use for this body, it may as well be food for something. And while we are on the subject. This is my favorite Rachmaninoff piece of music. It's in 5/4 time but the odd time signature isn't obvious. It's dark and moody and I like dark and moody Isle of the Dead - Sergei Rachmaninoff / Mikhail Pletnev / Russian National Orchestra

Abbey Road Medley - The Beatles In my personal opinion it's the best piece of work they did. I don't know what the "restored" version is all about, I'm about to find out.

Agreed. I find it a turn-off myself. But then they aren't doing it to attract my attention. When I was a kid I wanted a tattoo. My mother refused to let me. It's one of the things she didn't let me do that I appreciate the most. I read that a doc that does autopsies said that he can always tell the people who have tats, their lymph nodes are black from trying to get the toxic ink out of their system. I wonder if that impairs the immune system that the lymph system is a major part of. Notes

My ex-wife decided to get fit and walk 5 miles a day. I haven't seen her since. Last I heard she was in Oregon.

And a song that still gets a rise out of the audience we have target. I like playing it because I left room in our sequence for a distorted, compressed guitar solo. As a sax player, getting to do things on the guitar that I can't do on the sax is just good, clean, fun. Play That Funky Music White Boy - Wild Cherry

Pyotr Tchaikovsky: Romeo & Juliet Overture - Valery Gergiev & the London Symphony Orchestra IMO, one of the most emotional and beautiful pieces of music ever written. I've not heard this version yet (listening to it now) by Mr. Gergiev is a great conductor and the LSO is a great orchestra. So far- so good!
