I'm only missing 2 kitpieces, so I can't redeem the 3 kitpieces until they add another. Kind of expected that, and being that haven't created any more kitpieces the last few times they went to a studio and made an adpak, I think I won't be seeing anymore kitpieces. But they did add 7 percussion pieces to the Dead kit and included the Instanbal Clap Stack, something that's interested me ever since seeing Carter Mclean cover of Human Name. $285.77 for me, but I still have 5 kits to go. Spilt on just getting the Dead, or holding out for a Custom and grabbing Dead, Heavy and Retroplex. I don't use the midi packs, but I like getting them. I would like to hear the Mallet kit with it's Midi pack Same for Dead and try out the Creative Blocks. I only have 2 kit pieces to get. and I suspect I won't be able to redeem the 3 when there is only 2 available.

Tried deactivating both from from iLok Manager, and little plate still worked and , uninstalling. Reinstalling, not activating through iLok. Went back to the email, realized I never entered the activation code they sent me, checked my account, saw that no iLok was associated despite having little plate activated through it. Tried opening the VST direct from the folder, which opened audacity, and prompted the activation codes, that was now out of date, there was an iLok option with my computer name. clicked that, both Little plate and Phasemistess showing. Opening cakewalk, still nothing. Then saw your reply, tried it and now it works. Thank you for that.

I installed this last week, added to my iLok, but it's not showing in Cakewalk. I have Littleplate from last year, it's in the same location (Common Files\VST3\Soundtoys) alongside Phase mistress, and it's showing in iLok License Manager as activated with 1 of 2 activations. When iLok activated Cakewalk auto ran it plug in scan, but showed 0 new additions. Anyone know what I have missed here?

I don't think it depends on what you own. I can't see a price for XO, because I have it. But LIFE is listed for me as $89.40 not $62.40 as Overbit sees. I have XO, Addictive Drums, all but 4 Adpaks, all the KitPeices, but 2 and all four ADKeys, Retro Colour and Drum Shaper. I'm basically missing LIFE and Drum Trigger, so I think that pricing was a glitch.

Yeah I think that's a Glitch. Life is $89.40 for me, and the XLN site picks up my location, so no Tax is added. JRR, Audio Delux and PLuginBoutique are always cheaper than from XLN when these broader sales are on. One of the few companies I nearly have all their stuff from, and always from 3rd parties over the past 10 or so years.

I think they stopped, as an incentive to upgrade. I posted above at the same time as you reply. But this is when I think I unsubscribed from them. This was just their annual freebie though, may still work on the paid option. Or maybe I just have all the chromophone 2 only ones.

I think I unsubscribed to their emails when I found that the new soundpacks wouldn't work on 2. They usually (or at used to) give a free soundpack every year, but being I don't really use the other synths, and the free ones wouldn't work on 2, I figured I'd just save the time on wading through demos trying to see what I could get for synths I don't use.

Do you think they modified the engine too then, or just went over a tweaked the settings. I guess they may have done between the original and 2. I can't recall if I had the original. I had their whole bundle (Tassman, Lizard,String and VA) and their Delay. Chromophone is definitely my favourite and pretty much the only one I ever turn to. They are all good though (Tassman just collected dust)., Usually the first thing I do on a synth preset is turn off the effects before I start tweaking, that looks to be 3 pages now with 1 per layer and a global. In the past I would have just upgraded, but I look back at all the little upgrade and thing I've bought and how many times they come around on sale. Maybe I'm just over it all a bit. I know the 3 things I'll grab when I'll see them on sale, and the rest will come around again. Sorry, just thinking out loud here a bit.

So it's really just a a presets push. I can send midi to one or more Chromophones as it is., and have them both open at the same time, instead of switching views. Shame they don't cross resonate with each other, as that's the concept of the synth in itself.

Isn't it just 2 layered Chromophone 2s with some cosmetics changes? Seems the main benefit is that when AAS offer you a free pack once a year, the Chromophone3 is compatible, whereas 2 no longer is.

So the NRPMs with the MIDI VST are messing things up, and in different ways. So there is nothing I can do about that. So I'm looking at a work around to merge MIdi inputs in parallel instead of series. When I select an input port on all the hardware and software input ports are listed. To merge input ports you can set up a preset from the preset manager at the bottom of the same list. But The preset manager only lists hardware input ports, not software. I'm kind of guessing I'm stuck on this one. The only thing I can do is print the midi and the miniplate the CCs after the MIDI VST has don it's job. Which is a shame as Harmony bloom, is a Polyrhythmic phrase generator, capable of creating evolving phrases of very long bar lengths, and it's often about subtle dialing in. And it works so well with this FM synth, and dialing that in a the same time continually surprises me. EDIT: or I can just not connect my Launch Control to my PC, and just directly into my MPC with a USB hub. And reconnect it for recording CC automation.

I'm not sure, I'm not trying to send to multiple anything, but multiple to a singular midi channel out. I'm don't get what a virtual midi cable is trying to do. I want to send both the Midi out of the Launch Control and an Instrument track (not with an synth on it, but a MIDI generating VST) both in parallel to a second Midi Track. This is then sent to an external hardware synth (actually an MPC with multiple soft synths, but it's a hardware midi connection) How would a virtual midi cable fit in that scenario?

I've been using these 3 banks quite intuitively for a while now, because they repeat a lot. The synth has 6 envelops ADSR, so that the 3 bank faders, also the ADR have a curve control and there's a envelope time scale too. so that's another set of 4 time 6. So that's half the controls just on the envelope stage. It's an FM synth with a 4x4 Matrix, and each carrier has 4 wave modifiers. So there's a repeated pattern running across each bank. I spend most of my time on the first 2 banks, only having to check some of the controls on the 3rd bank. I love how much the Launch control has opened up this FM synth, a form of synthesis that normally scares me, I'm tempted to get another So I can stay most of the time on two banks and the knobs stay in their correct positions. I'm not following, are you talking about the the synth plug in, or the Midi Composition Plug-in. Not sure why you are saying about NRPNs, I'm only using CC numbers There's 127 for a synth and I'm using 96 of them. It all works fine, when it's a normal midi track. The issue only occurs when I use another VST to create the midi data, as with Scaler.

I'm a little baffled by this, taken bite a bit of investigation. Note: I'm going to use the word Midi Composition VST and not Midi FX, because Midi FX go in the Midi FX bin, and are not VSTs, I can't think of a better word. I use a few midi composition VST, Scaler, Euclid, Harmony Bloom etc. To set these up you need to put them on a second track, and route the midi out to the track with the VSTi or a midi track with an Hardware synth. This midi track can on have a midi input of the midi composition VST (Scaler etc), otherwise it's receiving midi from all inputs. I can't see a way to select 2 midi inputs I have a Launch Control, with lots of CC assignments, in the case of one synth it's 96 assignments (3 banks of 32) To use the Launch Control. I have to play it on the same track as the Midi composition tool, and send it's CC data along with the midi from the Midi Comp. VST. Today I found with Harmony Bloom CC38, 98 ,99, 100 and 101 are not being sent out of the 96 CCs that are. SO I tried with Scaler and Bleass Arp, and Scaler passes through lots of Different CC (I didn't test all 96), but again, CC38, 98 ,99, 100 and 101 are not being sent out. So I tried, Euclid, Block Sequencer, and Seqund (the first two made by HY and the last a collab with HY), and with these it seems none of the data passes through. Any thoughts on this, is there a way to send a track two midi sources only, or a ways to not filter out midi CC? Or any workaround?

Yes, If I followed your instructions in the other thread correctly (and they worked so I think I did), then these two images are showing both approaches. Thank you I also have Scaler and use Solution 1 for that, so I really don't know why I wasn't making the leap today to get that working,.

Above was you solution 2 I had another go at you solution 1, which was how I was trying to do it originally. And I got that working too. (Solution 1 I used the MFX and Solution 2 I used the Standard VST, but they might work both ways, but I'm done messing about). I think I actually had this working last Saturday, but wit the standalone option I started to think I had used that or was going mad. Today I think I just didn't try the second mid track Thanks again
