Motley Crew 3 was a great album. I got to see them live in Pheonix. The sound was way too loud.

Great soundtrack using one instrument. One of my favorite budget movies and in public domain.

I find MS and Apple borrow each other's ideas and often it's the bad ideas. Look at W11 with the TPM requirement. My iPad is over 10 years old. I never really use it. It makes for a good portable media player on the patio. My fascination with portable DAW, having an iRig, IK keyboard, and all of the cutesy stuff was short lived because you realize it nowhere dents the use of a desktop DAW. Oh sure it may have some uses to make people believe you are cool in a Starbucks doing DAW stuff.

I've posted on forums asking for favorite ST sounds and the answer is always crickets.

Sampletank stuff loads fine on a spinning drive. I rarely ever use any of it anyway.

I'm trying to figure out the relation to the thread title and those forum posts. I'm not a major Cakewalk user but it's the first one I suggest to someone who doesn't have a DAW. There is no click and buy gimmicks. That's like my biggest rant about software these days is every developer has their own version of "iTunes" built in their product.

I'd say we do a great deal of it and this forum is proof.

Install VST3 to the default folder. Plus you can get help on their forum.

Not me. It has a lot of competition. I can't really see this even at the discount price when there are so many options out there. I would think Solid State Symphony is enough.

The other side of Groove 3 that is often ignored is they have a lot of Hal Leonard stuff.

They also give you the new stuff for free if you have the elite packages. I'm finding some DAW developers are making quality proprietary plugins that equal many 3rd party plugins. I also like to look at their demo song in a new release to see what is used.

I can't stand it. Patcher is another way of doing it. I remember how difficult it was in Reaper at one time.

I never felt the need for these apps. I've had over 800gb of loops at one time. I just organize them.

This seems similar to PrjoectSAM free orchestra, VSL free stuff and that BBC free version. There is really no versatility outside the library.

Huge is also the price even though it's VSL.

I'd rather they do away with the freebie and do a 90% discount on a product. I think that would make less people angry. Odd it rejected my password and would lock you out after a few attempts. Then I tried their other way of logging in. Didn't work. I tried this stuff on my phone. Just got this freebie 20 minutes ago.

I got plenty of their stuff and even paid for it. It has nothing to do with their quality but I don't really use their stuff.

The same could be said about Waves. I wonder how many people wait on an upgrade vs. I gotta have new shoes like the other kids. Developers hope for the latter.

4 years of Bitwig upgrades cost far more than 2 Suite upgrades.
