Every time they do a new release I install and look it over again (gotta love the free update policy). There are a ton of great features, but am I the only person that is completely put-off by the MIDI routing? Assigning & tracking MIDI device numbers instead of using alpha tags? In version 21? MIDI hardware won't pass cc until you customize the settings. Harrumph. Or, in keeping with the season, Bah Humbug.
I can't stand it. Patcher is another way of doing it. I remember how difficult it was in Reaper at one time.

I never felt the need for these apps. I've had over 800gb of loops at one time. I just organize them.

I suspect development resources are devoted to Cherry Audio synths at the expense of Mixcraft.
Like Reason Studios and Tracktion.

This seems similar to PrjoectSAM free orchestra, VSL free stuff and that BBC free version. There is really no versatility outside the library.
-
Huge is also the price even though it's VSL.
-
I'd rather they do away with the freebie and do a 90% discount on a product. I think that would make less people angry.
Odd it rejected my password and would lock you out after a few attempts. Then I tried their other way of logging in. Didn't work. I tried this stuff on my phone. Just got this freebie 20 minutes ago.

I got plenty of their stuff and even paid for it. It has nothing to do with their quality but I don't really use their stuff.

So what's so great about this?

Pretty much similar in cost to updating Ableton Live. But with Bitwig you get a free U-he synth to boot, while running barefoot.
You are wading off into the deep end of fanboyism. Try not to drown.

Unless you upgrade every two years
The same could be said about Waves. I wonder how many people wait on an upgrade vs. I gotta have new shoes like the other kids. Developers hope for the latter.

And those upgrades. Almost WUP-like
4 years of Bitwig upgrades cost far more than 2 Suite upgrades.

Gotta be quick around here!!! If it looks too good to be true, it's probably a mistake! ?
If it was $29 yesterday, that was probably a pricing error. $64.50 is the current half off price from $129 at UJAM.
Music Software Deals price history shows the lowest price for Dandy was $35.07 in July at Best Service: https://musicsoftwaredeals.com/price-history/virtual-bassist-dandy-by-ujam/
Nope it wasn't. I got an email from them it was a 24 hour flash sale.

I'm somewhat of a Live fanboy. It's an expensive DAW if you get Suite.

Thoughts on this appreciated. Are these drag n drop midis?

KeepForest beware !
Not. Thought about this but when a developer doesn't allow comments on Youtube is says buyer beware.
This would be another one trick pony library for me. Kinda tempted. What exactly is Viking Music? No recordings existed back then.

I got Bitwig v2 8 Track free on a similar deal. It did not upgrade for free to v3 when that was released. It was so feature-limited that I couldn't do anything useful with it. I got so tired of all of the "pay to upgrade" spam from them that I uninstalled it and never looked back.
It Waves created a DAW it would be called Bitwig.
OT - does anyone find Beat better than CM?

I am trying to ween myself off of buying deals just because they are deals lol
I don't even work with video editors anymore. The other stuff included makes it much easier to say no.

This means for an advance payment of $8,25/month you receive a $20 Voucher/month. Tempting...
I will consider this sarcasm. Their shop is overpriced when not one sale. This is almost as worse as the NI vouchers.

No matter how great it is I can't look beyond their licensing scheme.
Despite that upgrade from Plat to Diamond is $63. You are just going to have to hold on to that football a little longer Lucy.
-
It's bundled with a lot of junk or stuff you can get free elsewhere. There's a lot to be said when a developer has to throw in such 3rd party stuff to get you to buy their product. Cakewalk use to do it all of them time but it wasn't always lite versions of software.

It's failed in the commercial market more than once. If people are so set on using Linux they should use the DAWs that support them. They just can't seem to figure why the world rejects Linux.

2 Serum presets. Ujam Heavy 2.
So proud of myself.
Real loot was 6 Beringer Estate Founders Wine, buy 6 @ $4.49 each.

Another $100 and EW puts it on a SSD for you.
While this is a great deal I don't do enough orchestra to justify this. I still have EW HO Gold and never used enough of it.

They also give you the new stuff for free if you have the elite packages.
I'm finding some DAW developers are making quality proprietary plugins that equal many 3rd party plugins.
I also like to look at their demo song in a new release to see what is used.
