How do I register on this forum?

Why does this forum revert to my name instead of my forum nickname. I am constantly reverting back. Is someone trying to hack my forum account. -
What is really going to hurt them is creating confusion for the end user. Their licensing sucks. More developers that rely on iLok even have multiple installs. Waves might as well be an iLok only product.
-
LOL, something they haven't yet to work out in their app.

I don't like that everything is done in Logic. For some reason it doesn't translate well for me in other DAWs. -
It has Clear Central Cache that takes up 2gb of space. Nice,
-
So far I don't see any plugins updated to 11. It's just Waves Central. I installed their freebies on my other machines and the H Compressor is still at 10.

Very surprising since Cubase is claimed to be more resource efficient than Cakewalk. There is a similarity on one core which means that's probably on the developer's side.
-
GPO is underrated. Sure it doesn't sound like the big boys and has fewer articulations but you can lay down some stuff pretty fast.
-
I think I'll let my Waves collect dust and rot. I've acquired all of T-Racks, got Ozone 9, Melda, and probably some other stuff I can't remember.
-
I wonder if DJ will get some backlash for that.

EWHO Gold will probably be my last library to get. I can deal with Play, Synchron, but I still prefer Kontakt. I do not like the Spitfire player. Time will tell if this is a good direction for them. You are also safe on this forum from any Spitfire criticisms.

I've converted 24 bit to 16 bit on samples.

I know how to play one. I hope to own one someday.

The price of synths mean little to me anymore. I don't even download the free ones anymore. I need 20 lifetimes just to learn the ones I have. But someday I'm sure I'll make things more confusing by getting the Arturia bundle only because I like the company. I wish I was one of those Reaktor exerts and never buy any synths.

No. That is really the first time I've seen that reply in this forum and usually that's often the translation. I knew you were not serious about it. Now if I were serious in believing you were serious I just happen to buy some trance templates today and would have bounced one of them down and said "here you go sucka". Be sure to check out those one synth challenge videos. Those are always great. They humble you and make you envious.
-
I've always used the batch convertor in Soundforge. The other one I use is Db Poweramp.
-
That sounds like a "musta hurt a fanboy'z feelings reply". I have the stereo typical trance synths. I would not buy it based on that demo. It's very thin sounding and no fatness like you would hear using Spire demo. Here is the one synth challenge. https://www.fathomsynth.com/artists
-
Tempting if I didn't have 1,007,594 synths. That Trance demo is not that great. BTW check out the contest demos if one is interested.

They own Music Tech Magazine and I'm surprised they haven't put Bandlab in their content. We have no idea what is going on in Asia. Maybe Bandlab is popular there. No one has ever made a DAW that's free that comes close to Bandlab. So if you use it religiously than you can spend your money on gear instead of DAW upgrades which some developers seem to push then out on an annual basis.
-
Some people have insecurity issues when it comes to their choice of DAW. In the real world the listener doesn't care. Go look at CDs and see what's listed in the making of it. You might see gear listed if the artists have sponsorship.

LOL - no soul, the vaguest term in music. I heard that about dance genres, like duh it's for dancing. Just assume the average listener is totally stupid about what good music is despite they are the ones who purchase music. Just like anything else if you want to make income go where the market is. I remember when Metallica went mainstream. People said they sold out. Metallica's replay was, "We did! Everywhere we went." These videos are a dime a dozen. The reality is when you get into music performing or production your ears are no longer that stupid listener who puts forth money in music. Instead we become that listener who thinks that $500 reverb you bought will be noticed by that same stupid listener. Most of the stuff we buy are to impress our audience instead of those stupid listeners.

I bought it 2 months before it shut down. I could be worse if you are a Mac user and would have to buy new versions of software like Live and Finale to use Catalina.
