I have that issue with every NI plugin. That's why they have that delete tool. I still use the old Windows Installer Cleanup. I've had this issue as long as I can remember. Their installers are extremely slow.

Unfortunately you get locked into Waves and gain more bloat because the upgrades cost about the same as WUP. Eventually you will hit a brick wall when the only option is the $300 WUP.

The reason why I posted that video is someone finally made something that Mixcraft has failed to do. They are way behind in how to videos. They told me they are a small team but so is Image Line and they have the most popular DAW around.

Hopefully they didn't change the Sonatina to where is takes up that much space in your VST folder. There older version was using the Plogue player which Garritan uses.

Some have the ability of sample management wisdom. (not me) I do have an Intel 500gb that only has my "premier" libraries such as EW and VSL. The beauty of Kontakt is you can have libraries scattered across your system and it will remember where it is one you tell it. Most of the stuff in Komplete you find you rarely use it. Just start deleting those. To phase out my HDDs to SSDs is $$$$. I need to put that towards system upgrades since my Intel 4790 system and AMD FX system is not replaceable. If you can only afford one 2TB SSD then put your favorites on it. The sad thing is if you are into gaming your 500gb SSD drive doesn't cut it anymore because of lazy developers who think gamers could not handle compressed video. They could never get a job at Cockos.

Plugging into a USB3 made a difference. Next up is to get a powered USB3 hub.

The delivery was faster than the drive. It is very slow in a USB2 port. I don't think USB3 will make that much of a difference. Average transfer rate is about 8mb/sec. It's almost as bad as crappy wireless.

Did you ever use anything from that library. It's pretty old and was developed by Yellow Tools. I got the S3 deal when Cakewalk was done. I removed it and the library off the system because I have too many DAWs and needed the 70gb space since the library is proprietary.

Not a fan of Bitwig. If you want to keep up to date it's a pricey DAW.

Eh......Samplitude 4 for $149 when that comes up would be a better deal. BTW Groove3 has finally launched a tutorial for Samplitude.

Anthology Strings for $128 and free percussion was probably the best deal.

Once I get Melda everything the installer will be much easier.
