When you have Komplete, AAS, Spire, Sylenth it's really hard to go after the Waves offerings. With Waves I usually have to buy duplicate licenses. There's also a lot more resources on learning with other products. Plus there's the risk of a DAW not finding them after installation. Waves is a complicated mess that I'm moving away from.
-
None. You probably have equivalents. The difference is one machine license and the nagging WUP. Right now I just clicked on Element on the desktop and it's asking for a folder and no indication if what I need . So after that I still say NONE!

Noooooooo! Everyone can get this one..........eventually.
-
I was gonna get a Strum one but the demos didn't do much for me.
-
BTW you can download the demo while waiting for the website to work.

I prefer these emails over the "wee wee enhancement" emails.

Requires iOS 11.0 for those of us who haven't moved up in the Apple monopoly. Reviews are either really good or really bad.

Yep. More and more this is probably one synth to learn. I got the Synth Wave.

I love the sforzando player but I think I have enough EPs. I'm starting to pass more on free stuff these days.
-
Let's say if they did both. Would you have paid $25 for each one?
-
I have a lot of their older stuff which is one trick ponies. Their stuff is high quality but I think after awhile phrase libraries tend to lose their challenge among users. Sonokinetic is a real classy outfit. I like Da Capo for $50. No trumpets but hey I'm a low brass player. Getting pissed off not getting a freebie is a normal human reaction. Sometimes you can tell by the responses of the haves and have nots. The reactions on KVR tend to have more angry reactions. Vi-Control seems to have some new members that seem like shills. I mentioned I'd get that Noir Ost if it were 50% off and I was told by a new member to think about what I post so I responded with "***** shill". I hate the attitude of treating developers like it's a charity. If that's the case never get the free stuff or buy it on sale. Within 2 months I got Miroslav, HWO Gold, VSL Andromeda, and Da Capo. With all of the plugins, VSTs, Kontakt libraries I have any new purchase is basically like charity. I think we all have our list of developers we like to support and we rarely use the stuff. I hate the look at the other side shit. We all play the game. I doubt anyone knows how much a developer has to pay for the NI Player. I would assume there are volume discounts for them. I wonder what the benefit would be giving 1000 licenses away vs. pricing at a one time $25 purchase? Why not do both? I don't mind the giveaway but if one misses it give a "I can't say no discount". We all have our drives full of that stuff.

Talk about overkill.

Anyone have this? https://impactsoundworks.com/product/furia-staccato-strings/
-
Same here. I think my chances are better getting the expired freebie from Sonokinetic.
-
I'd like it if it were more discounted than 33%. I suggested before no freebies but very heavy discounts for everyone. This recent library didn't seem impressive to where I'm PO'd I didn't get it.

Well test disk recognized the manufacturer. I tried to create an image but it was taking forever and reported errors. I think it is officially toast. Great timing since I got a 5TB one. I probably also free up about 50GB in my Kontakt folders as well. It still have to wait for download links for KH Diamond. One thing I know is there is no such thing as a secure backup. It's nice that there are more developers that allow you to download your purchases.

[courses deal] For guitar/bass players wanted to improve their skills

Most people probably don't know there's plenty with a groove3 pass. I've bought from true fire many times. What's different is those $5 seem to be buried. -

Time for Scott to make Bandlab Power. I still miss those books. -
Does one really need this? IK has one, I got the Bx one, Waves gave one away, and the small developer who always has sales has a nice one. I can only see this for aesthetic reasons.

It fell on the floor about a 12 inch drop. It was running and now it can't read or write. It shows as a RAW format. I tried everything. The downside is it was all of my Kontakt library purchases. I guess the heads are damaged. The not so bad side is I can download most of the stuff I bought. All NI that I bought separately is in my Native Access. I can still download my KH Diamond bought many years ago. Those that I can't recover I'll just zip the libraries and put them on another drive. I have 4 machines and the Kontakt folder mirror each other. The plus side is now I'm taking inventory of libraries on my system. removing ones I don't use and archiving them. You would be surprised how many of the freebies take up space. BTW does anyone compress all of their libraries via Kontakt? Developers often do this but I'm surprised new one that are not like Riffendum.

This is a bundle for $199. The S25 is $169.
-
BTW does this allow up to 5 authorizations?
-
I have that issue with every NI plugin. That's why they have that delete tool. I still use the old Windows Installer Cleanup. I've had this issue as long as I can remember. Their installers are extremely slow.
-
I had 8 points and got Da Capo. They did me a favor once so I returned it and bought a library.
-
Unfortunately you get locked into Waves and gain more bloat because the upgrades cost about the same as WUP. Eventually you will hit a brick wall when the only option is the $300 WUP.
