  1. You'd think a developer could figure that out and incorporate it in their product. This solution isn't worth my time or worth giving a developer money.
  2. Oh wow they do! I had to remove them from the Windows folder because they wouldn't work elsewhere.
  3. Not gonna get 9 extra plugins with that.
  4. https://www.facebook.com/pluginalliance Once in awhile a negative comment seeps in. See LICENSE TRANSFER NEWS.
  5. There's one thing to do with Hideaway Studio products and that is to own all of them. I need to do a project that is all Hideaway.
  6. Will take up 3gb drive space and no option to put them on another drive.
  7. Do these work in Bandlab? I remember these were Sonar specific.
  8. I could clear about 3gb of drive space by removing x86 VST plugins folder. The biggest culprit is NI plugins. Some developers have an uninstall for 32 bit. Anyone have issues by removing 32 bit by deleting them? Other vendors in my 32 bit folder are Waves and Izotope. I have no need for them anymore.
  9. I deleted my email, I think. BTW I think I have equivalents with IK and Izotope.
  10. Kudos for IK for fixing my dilemma. Of course it will happen again if the next target is reached. I'm sure others will experience it. IK really stretched themselves out. My other rant is micro usb ports on their controllers. They are in love with them. I will never buy any controller from any manufacture that uses those ports.
  11. Kudos for IK for fixing my dilemma. Of course it will happen again if the next target is reached.
  12. I was shocked when VSL replies on the weekends. IK does respond the next day if not on a weekend.
  13. My licenses show up to 10 authorizations so I don't think it's a machine limit.
  14. It doesn't really make sense since these are NFR licenses. My only other thought it was designed so people don't accidentally choose the same license again.
  15. Most are TR5 singles to chose. Once again that is odd. My situation may be taken care of. This is the first time I've had issues with this. I think I have 3 licenses of ST libraries like Sonic Synth 2 that probably came from promotions. Plus the most of the Amplitube stuff I could chose would be 2nd licenses. So if this goes to the next tier the hassle will begin again. I repeat again - odd.
  16. I have 16 items not greyed out and I have them already. Odd. This is so messed up.
  17. So many options emailing support. I emailed support last night, Nothing yet.
  18. But do you have everything in the group buy?
  19. Ever watch Office Space when they announce the two Bobs are here to help out? It's the same BS. People just wanna push the subscription model panic button. They have to make it sound positive laying off 200 people. I'd say them buying Loop Loft has become a sunken cost. I use to get emails every week before NI bought them. Every week there was a freebie for buying something. It was a major contributor to GAS. Not now.
  20. There's always something great but..........there's always a catch. I've forked over $350 in this group buy. I have everything. I have 4 machines and it's not unusual to have duplicate licenses despite the great 10 authorizations. The issue I have is now my selections are even more limited and those would be duplicates. I have no intention of selling software. I make my bed and lay in it despite any disappointment. For me to get a duplicate of something I would have to create a new account and pay to transfer it to my other account. Sounds stupid to me. And the fine print IK Multimedia reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate or modify the promotion. Well I guess they did in my case. So at some point many of you will have no choices left. One could make the case of acting entitled or looking a gift horse in the mouth but these promotions are made to get sales. The group buy prompted my to buy an Axe. I didn't need it but it's a great unit. One day it's being a member of the IK fan club then there is a policy where it's like never again. There are plenty of "never again" out there in other forums. I was in the never again crowd until a month ago. See what changed my mind? IK makes some great hardware (except keys). If it weren't for the hardware I would have blown this off. But once again this issue puts me on the hate side of IK. Maybe they will change this so I will be happy again. But it's these little things that prompt me to go with the never again crowd. Part of me wants to broadcast this everywhere but I don't want to mess with them possibly changing their ways when there is a possibility of others getting their promotions while some of ours will lay dormant. It's like being invited to dine at Subway and only allowing whiter bread on veggies, no sauce.
  21. Which will be pointless since there is no such thing as getting duplicates if you have everything.
  22. There's no factual statement. It's just the usual vague mumbo jumbo put out by companies.
  23. Let's all push the "Subscription Model Panic Button". This is the latest trend in DAW paranoia. The only concern should be if Gibson bought them.
  24. I doubt they will. Adobe is so different that far more people edit photos than people use DAWs. I wonder if the cuts are more towards library developers since they are not regarded as high quality instruments compared to 3rd party developers. The only way they can unload these libraries is to package them in Komplete.
  25. No, but in some ways it's apples and oranges.
