You'd be surprised how much stuff does that without them telling you. Magix is one example. If anyone has other W.A. plugins most of them abandoned authorization.

Too fewer updates before upgrades. That gets moved out of by budget DAW list. A Reaper license is $69, Mixcraft Pro upgrade $29. They seem to wander in the direction of Reason by making more plugins and less attention to the DAW. I just found it clumsy to work with. Their free DAW just can't compare to Bandlab. I've had a license of Tracktion since it came out and 9 was the end for me since I have too many DAWs and feel they are moving out of the budget territory. I'm sure I would be dumb enough to fork over $25 for an upgrade.

I doubt anyone has paid full price for them either.

A colossal 12GB synthesizer for Kontakt. Meanwhile I don't think my NI synths, Sylenth, Thorn, KV, Spire total 12GB. Maybe the complete Arturia collection does. I starting to question the logic of having large sample synths not named Omnishpere.

It's odd since Magix also uses Engine as well. There's always some confusion, do I activate via Magix or Best Service? My solution is to avoid Engine. I've become a full Kontakt fanboy. (not their player) I do understand why developers want to move away from Kontakt but do they understand why I prefer it?

I'm glad it's Waves and not Melda, saved $30.
