  1. This would have been a "no you don't need more pianos but at this price what the heck" buy if it was for Kontakt.
  2. Digital is a license. We make the mistake thinking we own the software but we own the license.
  3. My drives say YES! Sure they sound great to us but the average person who is only a listener probably wouldn't be impressed like us. I can't imagine any criticism in a song even if a GM patch was used. We like to tell ourselves it's not true. I often use a DAW's built in piano to sketch.
  4. Anyone have the harp. I'm looking for an alternative instead of using the one bundled in Kontakt. I don't want to spend on an elaborate one the rarely gets used.
  5. Developers are moving on my list of No Parachute on a Failing Plane.
  6. One time I got a free license and I couldn't use it. Hopefully it is not a generic license. I have another machine with an iLok and it didn't work.
  7. https://www.howtogeek.com/738124/heres-what-windows-11s-new-file-explorer-looks-like/ I always think most graphics are designed for phones and laptops. It's the eye candy generation. You can make a terrible game and if it's pretty some love it.
  8. https://www.reviewgeek.com/90224/windows-11-requires-tpm-2-0-modules-so-scalpers-are-driving-up-prices/ Reminds me of a dongle.
  9. I have no idea where you got that. Asians study Western Music. Watch an Asian film on Netflix.......seems like Western Music to me. Interesting how this strayed way of topic. This was about NI updates wasn't it?
  10. That's the kind of gear that never leaves the house or maybe for a player in an amatuer band to show off their gear which most of an audience has no clue or cares.
  11. I guess it's easier to spot among all of those Komplete libraries.
  12. I'm waiting when my NI updates don't fail. Windows Installer Cleanup goes hand in hand with NI updates. I don't use their deleter because you get all of the backup registry files. I swear NI stuff writes a zillion codes in the registry.
  13. My first SSD drive fail was Intel. At least with Intel they send you a replacement and you send the defective item back.
  14. They can also prematurely fail.
  15. Welcome to the modern age of synth programming called sound design and not to be confused with music design.
  16. They haven't got far enough got legacy hardware. I wouldn't worry about it anyway. Most people aren't going to "uppgrade" because the developers graduated from Idiotic Graphics 101. The DAW world recognizes people still use desktops.
  17. This is what happens when you have too many plugins. I have them. Everything outside of their plugins suck. Their web page navigation is terrible and Korg Software pass is a joke. See also their licensing. It's only for one computer. Sotware Pass doesn't really seem to update. With some many other synth options I may consider deleting these.
  18. I guess the haven't invented the resizable GUI for VST. No buy for me. I may delete the ones I have.
  19. i can buy a whole lotta desktop for that price, but that eliminates the chance of ever using Logic or Alchemy2 .
