  1. Hi Chaps here`s an angry song , Shout it out ......paulbush Intro Shout it out from the rooftops, Write it on a screen Shout it out from the mountains, Put it out on T.V. Cant keep this inside of me,I´m Gonna drink myself drunk They`re playing hide and seek, now it`s their time to run Time to take to the streets, Wave a flag in the square . Every man woman and child, We´v had all we can bear Well we see youre getting nervous now, a cracked smile cant hide the facts and figures ... When the walls come a-tumbling down , All their friends have gone to ground Chorus We put our trust in you, all that we got in return was the same old excuse.. Jobs for their parliamentary boys, making all the right noise.. and getting drunk on expenses ... Incompetence is a way of getting ahead Sitting on an insider board with all your lobbyist friends
  2. Barry I love your vocals as always, you got so much character in your voice , great song...... too long ? I think a soaring guitar solo wouldnt go a miss not too busy .. but what do I know ..cheers

  6. Yeah i really liked this one , some great guitar playing , the drums did a great job must have taken a lot of programming , I really struggle with EZdrummer 2 never bothered to upgrade to 3 .. great stuff cheers P
  7. Great stuff reminds me a littel of the snow goose by Camel at first then ..a bit of alan Parsons all in a positive way lovely guitar tones that les paul came out so smooth with some great licks ..whats not to like .. loved this .cheers P
  8. Bloody loved this , sounded so fine , Oh so polished , loved the rythum changes within, kept me on my toes had to listen to it three times and still wanted more so sweet this was so special cheers paul
  9. Thanks Freddy , this one has certanly hit a nerve , I do sometimes try to write songs with some substance , there is so much inequality and suffering in our world , we can become so desensitized to it all thanks for commenting ..cheers paul
  10. Thanks Lynn, I posted the master mix of this one a few fdays after posting this , also a friend of mine made a video , this one seems to have hit a nerve so I´m pleased with the result , thanks for the nice comments Paul
  11. Thanks Steve If you scoll through you`ll find the Kensington Avenue master mixdown , Its certanly better than this mix , and yes Its a sorry state down there every city has its own Kenny town ....very difficult to manage ...lets face it these people dont vote .....so I dont see politicians doing a great deal .......cheers paul
  12. Yeah always a pleasure to hear your stuff, slick as usual always, well thought out and produced , loved the vocals,......great song ..
  13. Hi Tim , love that guitar riff , and all those fills ``rockin´´ vocals are great but I thought maybe a tick too quiet ...great song ....
  14. Thanks Mark and Tim, Yeah Ive got admit that on this one I took my time right from the beginning , I took all the reverb- room effects and played along with a dry drum so as to hear the beats`` in yer face and clearer´´ made recording all the instruments easyer , took the advice given and didnt over think the mix down thanks for commenting Paul
  15. Hi Chaps , well I took on all the good wishes and good tips and didnt mess with this song in mixdown i did add a few bits `n´pieces , and re sung some backing vocals in middle before the solo , Oh and re recorded a couple of barres of the hammond , didnt have to tighten up the drums on this one so I`m rather pleased......cheers P https://www.bandlab.com/user7005896328090268/kensington-avenue-master-01d72178?revId=f2f7a411-0569-ee11-9937-000d3a41ec2a
  16. Hi Chaps , thanks for the encouraging comments , I really enjoyed recording this one , once again I never know where its going . I was looking for a chorus and a hook but it just didnt arise so I just went with it as it is , And thanks Bruce (much easyer to write than noynekker ) thats good advice as i`ve just finished the mixdown , All it needed was a tickle of both Eq and a little bit of tube emulator no compressor and that was it , funny you should mention ``Midnight flit´´ thats the most hit on song`s in my catalogue , I dont understand why really its not a pop song or a catchy tune ..so there`s still a place for songwriting after all , cheers Paul
  17. Bloody Hell !Tim There´s a lot going on in there , Loved the guitars and yeah I concure with all the above , with the right mix this is a great song as said before maybe the guitars should by panned L R making more space for the vocals??? , cheers P
  18. Thanks R Stjohn, well aftera couple of hours trying almost everything ,Ive ..wait for it ....deleted the 6 quiet 4 barre paterns and copied ..the same patterns that were` nt quiet from the same song and copied and pasted them in the 6 ofending paterns ..and guess what ? ..perfect vollume .. there must be an explanation for this but I´m not going to look for it ..i´m off for a beer .....thanks for taking the time to reply ....cheers paul
  19. Hi chaps This is really confusing using edz added different types of fills from different sources ei. fills from americna , beats from session and it seems although Ive marked and copied the whole song in ezd and dragged them to a midi track on cakewalk some mesures are louder than others ,if that makes sense ? Ive tried going back and increasing the velocity to the offending patterns to no avail ?? any idea`s ..thanks in advance paul
  20. Hi guy´s well this one was a funny one to do it just didnt take off at all at first then it flew off in different directions `this isnt a pop song it is what it is type song , I´ll post the lyrics Oh i wrote after seeing a documentary as always all comments are welcome ..cheers oh by the by I also made a video ..still photos and such like I´ll post as soon as its finished https://www.bandlab.com/user7005896328090268/new-project-8b14ca81?revId=b2a0178b-0066-ee11-9937-000d3a41ec2a Kensington Avenue Paul Bush Come on down to Kenny town , I can fix you right up for a buck and a dime... no red carpet just cardboard and crates Meet new friends make no mistake No ones comming to rescue you, he´s gonna love you much more than they do, he wont let you down, So long you walk the street in his town …. She didnt even get to say goodbye, Didnt get to see the tears that they she cried, She had just young love in her eyes, towing the bad boys line line He turned her on like no one else before, She was his slave , je t'aime dámour .....When she walked the steets at night , Even after her first hit, still never felt right.... ....solo.... Still didnt feel right....Never felt right....Ohh yeah Welcome back to candy town , theres a few of us left but some have gone to ground There´s no escape Since your man left town , dont hesitate , coz I´m your man now No ones comming to rescue you, I´m gonna love you much more than he do , I wont let you down, So long you walk the streets in my town ….
