Hi folks , Thanks for the lovely comments once again I`ve been absent...I took a trip to Prague to try some beer and pork knuckles both were scrummy so My voice wasn’t at the top of its game on this one after a spell of covid (second time) my voice just stopped working for well over three months I just couldn’t get any tone out of it at all , its still not as is was but that’s to do with my age so I´ll have to live with it , thanks once again , not sure what ``far means´´ ? but anyways it is what it is cheers everyone ..--nice to be back amongst friends ..... Hi N , Yeah thanks for the comments It was a quick one this one but towards the end of recording I went down with ``long covid´´? or something and I lost my voice for over four weeks and its still not 100% but that's probably to do with age , no voice no songs so I´ll have to see how it all pans out ,I´m not a good enough musician to do instrumentals , I could play the spoons though cheers P

Thanks , Steve, Lynn, Björn,and Nigel your comments , tips and encouragement really spurs me on , this song is a perfect example of how I sometimes write lyrics in pictures (in my minds eye) the whole song is a short film in my head so it makes it rather easy for me to write and enjoy, I really do like these musical visions when they occur , so I´ll add a last verse clean up some mistakes and post it sometime this year, it`s summer her in Austria so I don't have much time in the studio: cheers all Paul

Hi Steve yes yes I totally understand what you're saying , I`m an old blues player so anything ``live recorded´´ is always on the money´ as far as I´m concerned , unfortunately or not with all the electronic vst files and magical technical skulduggery that's at our finger tips its very easy to go overboard and add the kitchen sink , of which I am truly guilty at times ( more often than not ) also with a weak song one can add all that stuff to boost them up , Ive just posted a rough demo which may interest you along those lines ``walking up to your house `` cheers and thanks for your constructive input much appreciated paul

Hi Wookiee , thanks for having a gander young man, I get what you're saying i did in fact have a middle eight but due to the fact I don't really have a proper chorus it got to the rambling on and on stage rather quickly to the point where even i couldn't stand it ,so I went for dumbing it down and keeping it simple , speaking of keeping it simple I´m in the process of adding so much to it that its its .. I just dont know ......I´ll post maybe both together so that we all can make a comparison .......as far as less is more well that fell into the water long ago ..... Ive lost the plot ......again.......cheers paul

Thanks Jesse, yeah absolutely it needs to be tightened up , (the bass-guitar solo) I´m really at the ``throw anything at it and see if it sticks stage ´´ it just seems to be lacking something , I tried adding some harmonies but they sounded awful , so I´m at a bit of a loss with this one , but that's the fun of the fair , thanks for commenting cheers P

Thanks Guys you are all too kind and Kevin cheers that Tele sound is a kit guitar €100,00 , plus €100,00 Tonerider pick ups , I don't know why but its my go- to guitar for the last couple of years or so , I feel i´m running out of steam a bit ...that said I´m working on a new one slowly and its a bit different but definitely 60`s 70`s style its where i feel comfortable once again thanks for your support ..Paul B

Love that guitar sound ,, and the song has a really wired vibe backing vox great main vocal but that guitar sound is really good .cheers P

From the off great main vocal , just super , backing vocals spot on , in my opinion the song could have done with a key change somewhere , but all the same lovely production and a good song...... the sort of song one would hear in a T,V film ..cheers P

I thought this was great , lovely voice but didn't understand one single word , the production was just great , , the singer was to involve in trying to sound to cool .. sorry
