Hi friends , well this one came out of the blue and was a lot of fun to do, its rare that sometimes things come rather easily ?? as always all comments are welcome Ive added the lyrics ..so you can make head and tail of it cheers paul Well you told all your girlfriends, And you kept him to your self OOH. No time is ever the righ time, coz youre still a dadies girl Well I taught you about dangers, maybe thats the main attraction ,OOH..Youre not playing a part on a cheap T.V.show chorus Well breaks my heart when I see my little baby making fool of herself , well it brings me tears, when I see the fear as she`s falling apart, Well its just like a curse , It feels even worse when there´s nothing the world I can do, Except help with the pain,and try to explain, and sing a la la lulabye Oohh lalalaaaa...... sing a lulaby...... Well she looks just like her mother, she got her stubbornness too She got the anger in her eyes, turning red into blue When she makes a wrong desision, she`ll turn it back on you She got the face of an angel,but the devils looking back at you ..…..chorus........….outro solo......

Hi Barry you could sing the phone book and I´d be hooked , I loved the story , the production was great your voice just sublime , the strings came in and then the Telecaster ? another great piece of work Barry thanks for sharing cheers paul

Just such a super vocal ,I would’ve liked some higher backing vocals but that’s just me super project ..cheers P

Hi Allan, I always really like your lyric`s and songs, great hook ``Mr together is coming apart ´´ ... I hate make comparisons but it`s got that Ray Davis (Kinks) feel to it which just super,...... proper songwriting, a proper song , properly done , cheers paul

Hi people here´s the new one rather quickly written and rerecorded a rare occurrence... as always I´ll enjoy any comments you may have cheers Paul verse 1 I´m sick and tired of all this waiting , for those better days , Sick and tired of my complaining , There`s got to be a better way Well I`ve been thinking about the things that might help , Those lame excuses I`ve been telling myself All those lists I wrote are back on that old shelf , One step forwards then one more back again Chorus Well im looking for a new love, a true love, a snowy white dove to help me find my way , A new heart, a fresh start, a shiny new car to help me drive away...... There`s no rhyme or reason running from your daemons, You gotta face the facts and look within......... Stop being ``Oh so Precious´´ cheap plastic and pretensious, Consieted is the 7th deadly sin verse2 All my friends are out there flying, They`re getting all the breaks What I get is whats left over , not down to my bad mistakes It´s very easy to point out the who`s to blame As long as its not me in the frame I´m avoiding that old mirror of shame One step forwards then one more back again Chorus chorus outro I´m searching for a new life , from this daily strife avoiding the truth , that s gonna cause me some pain A new plan, thats easyer than, the one that I got Thats left me out in the rain

Hi there Treesha I´m trying to find a musical comparison , but I gave up, great video loved those bright colours fitted perfectly with the song , great vocals really picked me up cheers paul

Yes nice track all right I thought the vocals could have been a little louder , The acoustic guitar panned to the right got a bit too much with time, it worked for the intro maybe if doubled left and right for the verses would have balanced it out a bit , just my thoughts .nice one cheers P

Thanks to all that commented greatly appreciated , this one was a long hard struggle from the writing stage all the way through just one of those things , no sooner had I posted this one the next song shot out from the dark and was by and large written in a couple of hours (not recorded) so its been a joy to see the next come together so easily (sorry Noynekker no solo in this one either) once again cheers to all Paul

Hi people , here´s a new one a ``Life and soul of the Party´´ these things can go sadly wrong sometimes , that car trip home can be deafening in it`s silence .. Well your sparkling eyes hide, those tell tale signs that´s inside Informing me its time to find our coats, make excuses and go Was I borìsh ? I thought I was more`ìsh The Life and soul, The way they gathered around me hanging on every word chorus Was I dancing on the ceiling , just super apealing Standing out from the crowd , Was´nt I delectable, was`nt I deliriouse, Down right Dandy, and hilarious , Well you`re squeezing my hand real tight, as you refuse the traffic lights The sinking feeling that alls not right,sobers me up in the (was too serious ) pale moonlight... Did I get seriouse I thought I was mysterious oblivirous Were my jokes too raw did I hit another nerve , hanging on every word chorus Bridge Stop this room from spinning around all over me flashbacks and blackouts.... shadowing me......... Ive played this scene before like a film in slow motion Stop it now and let me sleep........... Well I wake up but my minds still a maze, I remember dancing a brand new craze, the music stopped and everybody stared, I fell down and thats when I fell from grace , Was I insulting, was I embarrassing Were my jokes too raw did I hit another nerve , chorus and outro

Yeah the same here good and bad days with my voice (since a Covid) although I do make sure I do a 15 minute vocal warm up with a backing tape before I record its makes all the difference cheers P

Yep i liked this, some great guitar stuff going on in there , I thought the vocals in the chorus were somehow clearer than in the verses , the hook in the chorus worked really well , from a songwriting point of view (just my taste) It flew right out from the gate and didn’t take a breather , great song cheers P

Its really not my bag maan , but that said , bloody vocals were on top form , lots happening on in there really hits the rock spot super solo guitar , (very envious) great track cheers P
