Good idea! I hadn’t tried Falcon in Unify yet in terms of the hit on the CPU threads. There are some Falcon expansion presets that sound great but choke my machine.

Simeon looking forward to your review on it. I’m quite a fan of some of the UVI offerings and use them regularly in my pieces. Listening to the presets video of the Quadra 4 which I thought would be interesting - I ended with the impression that not a single preset was compelling enough for me to give this serious thought. Maybe you’ll find something special in it!

The APD sale price makes this very worthwhile if you have an inclination for tin whistles - which I happen to. But in listening to the examples (there are a good number which is helpful), it sounds more like a tin-whistle-ish synth sound rather than the real thing. At this price I’ll probably still grab it. I expect a better tin whistle vst will come along in due time.

True story from me - my true claim to fame. Back in the 80s MTV was big. At that time Huey Lewis was very popular especially after Back to the Future. A friend of mine happened to get a part in a Huey Lewis music video. He ran into my room and grabbed a shirt from my closet. My shirt was worn by the central character (the nerd) in a Huey Lewis video that played frequently on MTV. That’s as close to fame as I’ve been.

I previously picked up their acoustic guitar effect with the same concept and graphic look and feel. I enjoyed tweaking and the output results on the acoustic tracks I used it on. I expect to use that one further going forward. I may look at this bass one as well. Thumbs up for the acoustic guitar one.
