  1. Well. I did ask for the link, so . . . ??
  2. How hot are you going into it? I actually had one, but can't recall ever experiencing this. Had it for two months and sold it, I think i was unhappy with connection cables I had to get, 1/4jacks (Duo) to XLR (Monitors.) It sounded decent at the time for the Home Studio.
  3. If I may ask, what's wrong with this? And what changes did you make? And would you be so kind to attach the link to the other thread in discussion.
  4. If you're in Windows 10 right click on the speaker icon and choose OPEN SOUND SETTINGS. In the next windows under SOUND change the output to the desired SOUND DRIVER you want to use on your System. Under Manage Sound Devices > Output Devices, click on the extra Outpit Devices shown and DISABLE them. No need to delete things as you might want to use them again. Hope this helps.
  5. This depends on where you want to use it. Currently its only available on MIDI files in Cakewalk. For audio files you gona need a 3rd Party Plugin.
  6. There actually is. When created, you get a dirty copy and clean copy. If that's what you're asking. I can attach a video for this, if thats what you are asking.
  7. Numpad 1 to Nudge Left. Numpad 3 to Nudge Right. Try switching the Aim assistant ON/OFF by pressing the X-key on the keyboard and turning the Smart Tool OFF. You can do this by toggling between the Tools with F5 - F6 - F7 - F8
  8. 1: USB connection. Is your drum module installed? If not, install its driver software. After the module has been configured, connected, and properly installed, you’ll be able to enable it as a MIDI controller and then start recording electronic drums. Once the drivers have been installed, the next step is to update Cakewalks MIDI settings to communicate with your drum module. This means enabling its input and output ports so it can send MIDI data onto a track. You'll be able to then use SI Drums, Addictive drums or any other. 2: Interface Connection: Connect two TRS cables from the Main Outs on your drum module’s back to two inputs of your interface. If your interface only has one input, connect a cable from your drum module’s L output to the input on your interface. Create a Stereo audio track and update the input routing to match the input(s) you’ve connected to your module. Record-enable the audio track and press record.
  9. Does Cakewalk recognise your drums? To check . . . Go to Edit > Preferences > MIDI > Devices. Select your MIDI ports under Inputs. Select your MIDI ports under Outputs.
  10. Try clicking on the clip to highlight it (section) and drag it to where you want it | OR | try the Ctrl+D to duplicate the clip (this one works better for me on my workflows.) See which one works best for you.
  11. This has been fixed for the new release. There's an early access file available for download. Are you running the Cakewalk by Bandlab version (orange icon) or are you still on Cakewalk Sonar (black icon?)
  12. Feature request to have the pitch button of the loop construction as an envelope in automation lanes and directly linked to the audio clip in the track view. These two are currently linked when doing editing through it, that's why this idea doesn't sound to bad or difficult. Something like a "send as envelope" to clip feature. for both the pitch and it's fine tune. Would this be possible perhaps @msmcleod or, will it introduce a new world of problems in the daw and challenges to create. Just bringing some new ideas and improvements forward for 2022.
  13. Are you talking about a send from the track itself? Cause if you click on the orange (blue in the mercury theme) little button next to the send level to go GREY youre in PRE FADER and needs to be controlled with the actual fader and not the Level knob. It has been available for years. Or are you referring to the Pro Channel Modules?
  14. Best DAW support ever! What i was asking and seek clarity on was -- if you manually enabled archive too? Don't mean automatically like it say in the OP. Just had a lengthy conversation about this the other day too with another member after countless questions when we discovered these bugs with Archive Tracks. But perhaps @msmcleod might be able to help if you send the project file to him after/when he respond to this.
  15. ? What!? ? Young only opted now to be Amazon ("Amazing.")
  16. Those tracks your want to hide, are they archived? Cause theres a bug with that when hidding tracks.
  17. Lol! You mistake me for someone else. You're the one crying and b___ing about it every time. Not everyone can afford an interface like you nd me. So telling them to get one isn't helping them, thats breaking their spirit! Use your head. If you "really" want to help be nicer and look at the available options which they have. Either "WASAPI" or Asio4All which almost every other DAW out there (thats not free) offers the user. Have a great day.
  18. And just why do you feel offended by my suggestion? Do you here me mentioning you in my replies to everyones conversation? Everyone has their own experience and fixes to certain things that works for many, but fo some not. Everyone is here to help everyone, but you feel like you own the DAW everytime someone gives a reply. Time to grow up. I have Asio4All running with my UMC22 on with my laptop with NO! known issues what so EVER! Focursrite Gen2 with my Surface Studio - that sits now in my study. My studio runs Mac going on 8 months with an Apollo twin. I'm helping because I had never had any problems with ASIO4ALL period. Why? Because ASIO4ALL works 100% with an Interface. I have done DEMO recordings for major record labels using ASIO4ALL with no problems. Grow up. People out there make music with what they have and not everyone can afford an interface or any gear. Enjoy your day.
  19. Have you tried to choose an output device? Like your realtek device or Audio Interface if you have one. Click Edit > Preferences Under the Audio section on the left, click on Playback and Recording From the "Driver Mode" dropdown select ASIO or WASAPI and then click Apply Under the Audio section on the left, click on Devices Make sure your Integrated Integrated audio card is selected under both inputs and outputs. If it appears grayed out, deselect all drivers, in both inputs and outputs, then select your Integrated Integrated audio card. Click Apply. Under the Audio section on the left, click on Driver Settings Make sure one of your Integrated Integrated audio drivers is selected as "Playback Timing Master". It is best to select the output that you have speakers or headphones connected to. Click Apply and then OK Finally, all audio playback will occur from the Integrated Integrated audio device. Make sure you have your speakers or headphones connected to its outputs
  20. There's actually a better way, but it sounds like you're looking for bigger clocks. Time Window.mp4
