  1. Great toy right? I've done awesome SFX effects with it.
  2. I've just downloaded the project - and yes, my suspicion was correct. The MATT track is barely audible. The difference is clear as daylight within the DAW PLUS: You even made it worse by lowering the gain and the volume. The MATT track that is already the softest recording has its Gain lowered to -6.5dB and the Volume to -7.7db. The Doug track that is the loudest track in the recording has its Gain raised +6.2dB and the track Volume is at 0.0dB
  3. This could be that one track has been recorded at a much lower level than the other. Reach for an analyzer tool | or pay attention to your peak meter digits. The waveforms themselves is also a good visual perspective to look at for matching levels. If one is softer than the other, try to gain match them at the waveform level as you try to get both readings at the same peak level on the metering side. Aim for -18dB or -14dB meter level while gain matching the waveforms. Increase the gain on the Waveform that is the softest by +3dB while matching the louder one with a negative value of -3db to balance them out. When satisfied with the levels of the waveform side you can then go ahead and balance the entire track on the mixing side with Track gain and Volume levels.
  4. Free for a limited time period. Grab it now. Soundtoys Spaceblender
  5. It work best when chopped up in smaller clips and moved to individual tracks. When you're satisfied with the outcome - you can always move them to one track and bounce them together. First make a copy - work on that and hide the original track.
  6. Theres your issue. Resetting you system probably removed a very important communication file from your OS it needs which only a clean reinstall of the OS might replace. I typically do a clean install of my OS system too 2or 3 times a year. It keeps my Overall performce smooth and eliminates DAW crashes.
  7. Start a new two measure groove and when it freezes up again - create a dump file and send that in. You can send it directly to support, or attach it here. Lastly: Which OS are you on - not that this would matter at all.
  8. Try to reinstall it, but do a clean uninstall first. Remove it from the registry too, and look for any other vst dll an delete them all - then reinstall it.
  9. Seeing that you still use Gibsons brand. Get the SIR1 convolution reverb - its free.
  10. I go with David, just because I own the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro which I paid $159 for on sweetwater. They are closed back and extremely surgical - abit too surgical actually (this is why they popular amongst the youth, I guess.) I've never mixed on them, but I do use them for LIVE monitoring - the my go-to headphones for monitoring. My everyday listening headphones are the Sennheiser HD 280, I paid $95 for them, and also closed back. They are just enjoyable listening to.

    Celebrations

Definitely celebrating it with those who celebrate this day.
  12. Eid Mubarak to those celebrating.
  13. Meh! That two years old already. It came and went again. Theres alot of Tiktok videos out with various software. AI is losing grip amongst the teens when it comes to music in the last 12 months. Its the older generations thats stumbling upon this today trying to figure it out. I work regularly with teen producers and artist in the EDM and HipHop world, when I stumble across something I think its new - they laugh at me and say its old and im not even that old. 😂 I havent even fully tried this feature out, but apparently, Stem Separation is old now too - so I've been told the past week. 🤔
  14. Have you tried a lower sample rate with the oversampling turned off in serum and Sonar?
  15. Make sure that your "Master bus" is set as your default bus. Right click and select both Default and Preview Bus (Preview Bus is for the Browser.)
  16. Yes, thats because Sytrus does not come with every version of FL Studio. FL recently launched their effect store where you can buy their plugins indivually, but they are strictly native to FL Studio - ONLY! I do have Sytrus. I own FL Studio and none of their native or addon and even their new plugins from their store has ever worked in Cakewalk or any other DAW.
  17. Correct'o. Tell them its causing Cakewalk to crash. Are you using the vst 2 or their new vst 3 version of The Riser? Then second question: Are you using Sytrus as rewired?
  18. Are you using "Sytrus" or The Riser. Your crash has an issue with "The Riser" which is an AirMusic product and Sytrus a FL strictly product. Attach the mini dumb file here, for further assistance from Cakewalk developers.
