Actually, Solaria in a lower range no longer sounds very feminine (to my ears), you may want to give it a try if you're looking for "ambiguity"

I thought that with the exception of some orchestral and niche sounds, sample libraries were already at a low price point not far from plugins, often lower (e.g., see the sampletekk libraries when they're on sale). Subscription mopdels for sample libraries can be tricky: if you let a subscription lapse for a plugin, you can print or freeze the track before you lose access. If you let a subscription lapse for a sample and you lose your rights to use the sounds then you completely lose your work (probably a good reason for never using subscriptions). If you retain the rights to usage of the sound (but e.g., lose the convenience of the virtual instrument), then it becomes very difficult preventing you from just resampling the instrument and unsubscribing, although, if the subscription service regularly release interesting products, that could keep you renewing the subscription

VirtualAudioStream is one of those that requires reading the manual but it can be handy if you want to add vst's to apps without support for it (e.g., if you ever wanted to add volume taming to Netflix movies, or pitch shift YouTube karaoke videos, etc.)

If someone is getting the Samplitude Suite but isn't interested in the Soundforge16, I'd trade a PA F29 voucher for it...

Stem separation is a lot more common nowadays (although it's still rare doing it as a realtime plugin), but I remember seeing Denis Goekdag, the CEO of Zynaptiq, demoing UNMIX::DRUMS at the AES convention several years ago and my jaw dropping at how impressive it sounded

I have another $75 available to give away but, with the policy changes, maybe stacking it with upgrades/crossgrades is not possible anymore

I did buy this subscription from APD some time ago and activated it around March or April. I got 1 year starting from December 2022, not from the time of activation. Just be aware that it could be 1 year from the time that the subscription deal got added to the shop and not 1 year from now. APD does offer "everything at base price" every now and then. In my opinion they have a few reasonably good items at good prices, but they are generally quite niche and it depends a lot on what you're interested in. E.g., items I've found interesting are: Narcotic (by Lunatic Audio), reMIDI 2, Floppytron, Etherealwinds Harp II, Dicky Deegan’s Uilleann Pipes, SEQUI2R EX and the Veevum Morph, Synth & Sync Mod-Tron Bundle. You may want to pick a couple of items for now and buy slowly, there will be more sales like this...

I have purchased (at different times) (a) PA ALL BUNDLE https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/all-bundle-2022.html ($224 after vouchers) (b) PA Releases 2023 (another $224 after vouchers) (c) Forever 29 (this is what I had before getting the "all bundles", and after getting the "all" bundles I started reselling them, which offsets $120 per year from the others) This also gets me monthly $75's that I use occasionally for "not-PA Releases" (e.g., PA_EXT), but most of the time they get used for sharing the love on the day before expiration (@Marc Cormier, this month is already reserved but, if they send a $75 for November I can reserve it for you) In practical terms it is not too different from a Mega subscription. I pay $224/year and get everything ($104 if I count the F29 part, but that $120 "bonus discount" would apply similarly if I got a Mega subscription), the big difference is the peace of mind that I can stop and still keep everything (vs having to pick a number of plugins per year that I want to keep). You may want to calculate what is your "no-brainer" price point for the PA plugins you don't yet have and how often you end up "taking the bait". A similar solution may work for you. (as a side note, I do get a mix of feelings when I look at the plugins that I have installed, see link in my signature. The pride of a collector, the shame of knowing that having that many is not rational or practical, and feeling like an idiot when I'm waiting for that "scanning plugins" window to go away)
