  1. 6x $10 producerplanet vouchers is tempting, although now that their sales are just 50% off it is much less attractive. Fortunately I got almost all of the soundpool catalog when they had crazy sales at $1 per voucher. If producerplanet has a good Christmas sale I'll probably get this bundle.

  4. Note that some of the products in The Vault are already included in the APD freebie and you don't need to spend money/points on them https://audioplugin.deals/product/free-211-black-friday-bundle/ (and there were more included in the VSTBuzz Power-up bundle as well)
  5. If you have any reward points left in your account, you may want to check the vault and use the points before the site gets merged/shut down https://vstbuzz.com/the-vault/ The BF2025 code posted earlier by Larry does work also for the vault and, to make it a sweeter deal, they first apply the 10% off to the full price and then apply the points to the result
  6. A few of these loop libraries have already come up for sale in various forms (e.g., I have "The RMX Sampler Pack" that includes many of these). If you have a large loop collection, you may want to check first what you already have. As a separate note, adding "30k loops" to your HDD/SDD can be a good deal if you have something like Jamahook Sound Assistant Pro that can index your library and suggest good fits (https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/3-Studio-Tools/72-Utility/11875-Sound-Assistant-Pro-Pack, although it doesn't seem to be on sale this BF)
  7. The relatively short notice was a total bummer. Since the cancellation is due to their convenience they should at least have offered full refunds for unused vouchers. Now we have to discount them for a quick sale or use them for a plugin we weren't that interested in. It may still make sense to grab a few Kirchhoff-EQ licenses and resell them later but, because of PA's transfer fees they will be trickier to sell. I have 5 unused vouchers myself but I haven't discounted them yet. I have been selling them for approx $50 ($52 after accounting for all the Paypal fees), at this price they didn't sell quickly but I didn't mind waiting For reference, it should be any plugin included in the Mega subscription, the full list of products for which the F29 vouchers can be used is at: https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/mega-monthly.html#included
  8. For reference, they've said that v1 voices will still work in v2 (and e.g., you'll be able to benefit from the faster performance) but they won't have the new features like mouth opening (although, if you aren't using the voices for final work you may not care) The upgrade will include 1 voice (select one of: Mai 2, Liam or Mo Xu). If you have Mai and aren't interested on the others you can use your selection for upgrading Mai to Mai 2 Upgrades for Eclipsed Sounds voice banks are purchased separately ($5 for NYL, $20 for the others) Edit: I just added my Eclipsed sounds serial numbers to the dreamtonics store and I can use my selections for them as well (although, for NYL it should be a better deal t get it directly from Elipsed Sounds)
  9. I have been doing a quick comparison of the Korg ARP2600 and Air TimeWARP 2600 and they sound very close (which is probably a good thing) Now I am playing with the following: Unify Layer 1: Korg ARP 2600 + D16 Tekturon, pan left 30 Layer 2: TimeWARP 2600 + D16 Sigmund, pan right 30 Then choosing similar sounding (but not identical) patches for both synths It sounds spectacularly good.
  10. I got $99 on the landing page, and when I clicked on the "buy" button, it automatically applied the code and went to $49 That said, if you are eligible for the Plugin Boutique upgrade, that's a better deal with the cashback tokens etc. (I'm not eligible because I got my collection directly from Korg and not PB)
  11. If you buy this together with 4 other plugins, you could get this for $63.20 ($79 - 20% off when buying 5 products) at dontcrack.com (yeah, it's not that often that you want to buy 5 items at the same time, but...) https://store.dontcrack.com/product_info.php?products_id=4493
  12. The market is getting a little crowded with CS-80 emulations and sound-alikes. Arturia, Cherry Audio, Memorymoon, Softube, Xils-Labs, a few free vst's, sample-based versions from UVI and IK, and more I think that there are still some old hardware synths used in iconic albums that haven't seen good emulations yet, like the RMI Harmonic Synthesizer used by JMJ in Oxygene. I hope we'll see them from Xils Labs in the not too distant future (I did email Xils Labs about this instrument and Xavier Oudin replied that it looked interesting so, keep fingers crossed!)
  13. I think they started as Sonic Foundry (at least Soundforge)
  14. I got Cosmos, but it makes my Pro Tools crash on start up ๐Ÿ˜ž The good thing is that I didn't spend any money on it so, thank you Fleer!
  15. If you have the individual Nx plugins, upgrading to the collection may be an option (it would give you 1 year WUP) https://www.waves.com/bundles/nx-virtual-studio-collection
  16. And... when the video ended, YouTube suggested another one showing how easy it already was, using AI with the previous version...

  18. Reminder if you get the bundle and GUI Maker is one of the products you're interested in: Save a link to (or download) the tutorial. Online documentation/resources can be good because it's easier to update it, but it can be hell when the company closes down... (although if it's on YouTube and not costing them money, you can hope it won't be taken down)
  19. and... for those of us who aren't fluent in Chinese language, here is a link to the English version https://www.martinic.com/en/products/kee-bass
  20. I don't remember them reducing the WUP price during BF, I think they'd want to "capture" some renewals for plugins purchased during the previous year's BF, but the 25% off comes up a couple of times a year anyway. @GTsongwriter You get 1 year of WUP for free when you register a plugin or a bundle. "Real bugs" are rare and generally ironed out by the time that 1y expires. I pay for WUP renewals when I want the new plugins that have been added to the bundles I have. Another reason for getting WUP would be for versions that add support for newer OS or chipsets (this mostly impacts Apple users, I use Windows and I cannot remember when it was the last time that older versions of Waves didn't run on newer Windows) or updates related to hardware evolution, like high-dpi I am not a WUP "addict" that renews every time it expires, but I was very annoyed when it was temporarily discontinued in early 2023. It does have its usefulness.
  21. The main reason for me to subscribe was the bundled software, but I did like scanning the table of contents and reading many of the articles: programming synth patches, reviews, etc. Probably it was my #1 source for new product announcements (well, if the product had a launch sale then I'd read about it it here first but, for almost everything else it would be at Computer Magazine)
  22. "Deals" as in "great prices for interesting plugins", or as in "this deals forum"?
  23. For updating, as usual, run the Arturia Software Center
  24. Yay! The PRO version does fractal image resizing ๐Ÿ˜Ž
