I've got "most" just sitting. I filled up all the Tonex sig stuff; all I was really interested in (and most just fluff). The rest I have from previous GB's. Think you'll actually use it? I'm just not impressed with ST. BUT, I'm a guitar play, not a synth guy... t

Bounce the midi to a single clip before you do the mixdown, that solve the issue. t

Is the midi track in EZD, or in a track? t

The download is s-l-o-o-o-o-w... I could be my ISP throttling me, this is the third PV I'm downloading. However, if you've ever hit the IKM forum, it moves like molasses in January (at least for me). t

Question: Any thoughts on the essential Pianoverse libraries. I have plenty of "tickets" to punch, but these Pianos are HUGE! TIA, t

Well I jumped in today. Now the tedious part; selecting and installing: Yikes. "Issue" FIXED! but the downloading and installing still tedious... Having an βissueβ installing the Tonex Signature Collections, but Iβll take that to the coffee houseβ¦

Zappa- Cheaper Than Cheep: Live Concert Film (1974)
DeeringAmps replied to hsmx's topic in The Coffee House
A little more into the Phlorescent Leech and Eddie years, probably because I was at the Pauley Pavilion the night they recorded Just Another Band from LA. But the Cheaper than Cheep band was hot! t -
These Grover-Mini-Locking-Rotomatics 406 Series 33Tuners Not sure the screw hole lines up exactly. I bought a DGT SE from John Mann and got a set of his MannMade SE USA Locking Tuners They work fine, but the big screw on the top I find distracting. t Back in the day I was not taught the "luthier's knot"; I was taught the first wind goes over the string and, of course, the rest go under. Never had "issues" once the string is stretched...

Listening on cans in the office so reluctant to comment on the low end. Doing a little work on the video monitors in the studio or I would take the wav out to studio... As always, much enjoyed the listen. π's π t

Itβs always βsalt to tasteβ. Certainly not objectionable, but overall it just seems a bit too much to my ears. my nickel98β¦ t -

Liked , commented, et cetera over at SoundClick; have you? Great performances Mark. As I noted over at SC, IF I was mixing I might roll back the verb a notch... π's π t -

Odd turn of events searching for a through-body neck
DeeringAmps replied to mettelus's topic in Deals
No, I think this is "modern" 2-way (or not, see below), it uses a hex key and these don't come apart (I think). Its just "stiff". I was able to get some relief in the neck (and then of course, I tightened it back up; I like my neck pretty "flat") So the Double Cut sets up and "plays". The intonation is good up and down the neck. The IPF-300 TSB arrived yesterday: This one the truss rod was "loose", so maybe they aren't "2-way". Tightened it up, and it plays just fine. 6 pounds; amazing. If I was "playing out", this is the guitar I would take. Anything happens to it, who cares; $206.72, lunch money! t -
Odd turn of events searching for a through-body neck

The double cut junior has arrived. Weighs in at 5lb 12 7/8oz. I guess that's the basswood. Quite a bit of back bow in the neck. I've let the truss rod off well over a quarter turn. That's put a "tiny' bit of relief in the neck; capo at the first fret and string held down at the 22nd. I tuned her up a half step, hoping to help her relax a bit; can't tell if this is a "vintage" truss rod or a "modern" two way. When loosening a vintage truss rod, it should get easier to move. This one remained "tight"; hence tuning up. 9's on these? I play 10's so that should help a little. As to the nut, the high E and the B are maybe a little too low, but I got to get the neck "straight"! Boy is it an ugly yellow! stay tuned... t
