  2. I think there is a way. Select all and ensure no clips are position locked Drag in the timeline to select all clips on all tracks to the left of the "insert point" Position lock the selected clips Enable ripple edit Insert the extra measures where you want to Disable ripple edit Select all clips and ensure they are not position locked
  3. This is (one of the reasons) why I keep buying Overloud products: they update their products and give free enhancements long after you've paid.
  4. In CbB, Help\Check for Updates and you'll be offered download links so, for example, Studio Instruments.
  5. REM - What's the frequency Kenneth? KLF = ... Frequency. Allegedly.
  6. I had a spare 3.5" for a 2*USB3 hub - my card adapter is on a USB cable...not sure the last time I used it ? My best buy was a fanless PSU - not cheap at all, but blissfully, well, silent (massively overkill for the build - my CPU+GPU together come in with TDP at ~100W - and even with 2 NVMe drives and 3 SSDs, it's not using much more power, and no moving parts apart from the near silent CPU and case fans).
  7. Sounds as quiet as mine! I had a spare 5.25" bay and found this, which is one of the most boring and clever things I've come across - useful for all those USB keys etc end up with: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01LY3YDLN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. I meant lyrics not vocals...I blame lack of caffeine! I was expecting a high energy/dark rock number, so this was very pleasantly surprising.
  9. Catfish and the Bottlemen - Longshot

    Video Card?

I sincerely hope not as it's a Ryzen ? But seriously, no it doesn't - I can't really work out how to fit another monitor on my desk without making it awkward for printer, speakers and coffee. Especially coffee. I WFH from it too, so need to be able to print/scan stuff from time to time too without having to either move a printer (in theory I could as it's wireless, but there's nowhere obvious to put it!) or be cramped.
  11. That was interesting. That said, I think immediacy (whether an amp or an amp sim) of getting a sound you like is as important as anything - I just bought a new THU add-on pack and immediately got a sound I loved out of one of the presets it shipped with that made me get round to actually recording some guide tracks I've been promising someone for ages!
  12. Not the style I was expecting from the vocals, but I really liked it.

    Video Card?

I had a GT730 before I upgraded to a 1030 (like you). Track redraw in CbB was much slower. Annoyingly, my GT1030 only has 2 physical output for monitors (not that I have room on my desk for a third but...I can dream).
  14. About 25 years ago when I lived in East London (UK), I visited a local restaurant which did "speciality" coffees, including one for £1500 (including inflation, that would be about £3400 today). I didn't have it. To somehow make things worse, said restaurant was running a credit card scam: I got a call from the police a few weeks after I went saying my credit card number (and my ex wife's) had been found on a list of ones that had been stolen and were about to be fraudulently used (thankfully they got caught *before* mine was used).
  15. Does that CPU have a mix of P(erformance) and E(fficienxy) cores? I'd try disabling the E ones in the BIOS if so.
  16. Linking the last two... Hawkwind - Wizards of Pan Tang
  17. Radical Dance Faction - Station X Red Flame
  18. Hawkwind and Brian Blessed - Sonic Attack And, yes, I think a jump to Queen - Flash is allowable from here!
  19. Bride -> Wedding The Wedding Present - My Favourite Dress
  20. Not to mention using almost random samples just to see what something sounds like (I was just playing around and found that a recording of an electric drill ends up creating an amazing flanger-like sound!).
