Do people not having presets appear have UAC off by any chance? -

And folder I think too! -
Yeah, there are a handful of plugins which do not like having interleave changed (eg. Acon's Multiply).
-
Alt-drag splits in this way already if that works for you.
-
I'd read elsewhere about some Ryzen BIOSes enabling (this is from memory) 10 bit PCIe IDs which cause issues with some devices. See if you have something like that in the BIOS you can change?

What Amp Simulators are you using this days?
Xoo replied to Feral State Sound's topic in Instruments & Effects
The BlueCat free amp sim is remarkably good for something that's free. It loads impulse responses too, and there are a lot of thise available too. -
With apologies if I've duplicated any: Dinosaur Jr, Cypress Hill(?), Scissor Sisters(?), Cornershop, Blur, Hole, Blind Melon, Seal, Dead Kennedys, Beach Boys, Madonna, Television.

Actually, you need to use a Pre Fade send to do this (I think), not output. Doable, but a little unwieldy I do agree. That said, clip/track gains did answer the question as asked ?
-
It's not configurable like that (at the moment?) in Cakewalk by Bandlab.
-
Agreed.
-
Yeah, you do - it was from memory and I hadn't tested it for years!

Does not CbB already support this for MIDI (Preferences\MIDI - Playback and Recording) - Allow MIDI Recording without an Armed Track?
-
It comes with CbB - VocalSync (it's a region effect, so at the clip level).

Slightly different approach, but this might achieve what you want in some cases: select both clips, right click and choose "Create Selection Group from Selected Clips". This allows the clips to "stick" to each other as you move/copy them, so you get the benefits of them behaving as a single entity from an arrangement point of view. -
Migrate win10 system drive to new computer
Xoo replied to David A Ludwig's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I moved Windows 7 Quad Core Q6600 (Intel) during an install of Windows 10 to a Ryzen 2600 (AMD) system. Blown away by how seamless it was - all AMD drivers loaded, no Intel ones hanging around. If you do the swap at the right time in the install, it's really, really good. -
Do you have 64 bit mixing enabled? If so, try turning it off: I had one plugin that behaved like this years ago.
-
I think there's still a limit to how many keys you can bind to Do Nothing before CbB crashes (and loses your edits to keybindings) so be wary.
-
Assuming you have Melodyne installed, drag an audio clip to a MIDI clip and Melodyne will automatically do its magic - you're obviously constrained by the source material (cleanliness) and version of Melodyne.

I'd settle for the DMM view to be non-modal at least (with changes reflected in PRV immediately). That *feels* like it might be an easier change (famous last words!). -
You can only access one interface at a time when using ASIO mode (as per ASIO specifications). Untick all the VoiceMeter tick boxes, then you can select the Yamaha.

From memory, ] and [ used to do that. Not sure if they still work. They do :-) -
Migrating to Win 10 - plugin best practice
Xoo replied to Bristol_Jonesey's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I meant UAC of course not UAT...too much project work in real life!
