There is often a key to the right of the spacebar which acts as right click (fullsize keyboard).
-
OK, I see: I don't think that's a good idea without immediately offering the level and pre/post settings - it's half-baked and will lead to more questions/poor usage. And adding those extra controls in to a popup could easily become unwieldy.

With regards to re-writing code (or not)... https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/lessons-learned-in-my-10-years-as-a-developer-3d33c8702828/

Genuine question for those requesting this (I think this may what Noel is alluding to): since CbB essentially creates a bus that can feed a sidechain input (so multiple tracks can feed the same sidechain with different levels), how would you represent this on a plug-in's GUI cleanly and clearly and without losing this functionality?

Crl-drag to copy is pretty standard Windows behaviour (try in Explorer).
-
In both Track and Piano Roll Views, middle button down and drag left right does drag the viewport (scrolls rather than drags to be fair - personally, I hate the hand grabbing and much prefer scrolling). You do get the CbB HUD (Head Up Display) appearing on middle click, which is a tad disconcerting, but the click-drag does still work.

There's a lot of prog bands here, which is definitely no bad thing in my book!

The first time I heard Dave Gilmour's solo on Comfortably Numb off Delicate Sound of Thunder was an epiphany - I'd only ever heard The Wall on the radio when I was young and was always "meh". But after that, I was a huge fan: I've seen Roger Waters live twice now (pseudo-Floyd) doing The Wall and DSOTM and apart from a couple of his newer songs he dropped in which did not stand the test of time, they were amazing gigs (Dave's place was taken by Lemmy's son!), and been to a very intimate Dave gig (couple of hundred people) where he also told Floyd anecdotes, which was a real experience. I almost managed to meet him at a work event a few years ago, but missed it due to...work ? That said, they do only have one tempo ?

It was unusable here - as soon as it was inserted into an FX bin, CbB's GUI ground to a halt and a couple of times, I had to Task Manager kill CbB to close it. My PC isn't cutting edge, but it's no slouch (Ryzen 5, 6/12 core, 3.4GHz, 32GB RAM, nVidia 1030 graphics card).

Probably down to driver mode in Preferences\Playing and Recording and/or mismatch with sample rate/bit depth.

Cakewalk is controlling my synth volume and I don't want it to
Xoo replied to jono grant's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
You can also disable the MIDI volume widget in track view by right clicking. -
Renaming back is safe. If that doesn't fix it, it's 99.9% not a plugin problem. Hold shift while clicking on the CbB shortcut will re-personalise CbB, so might be worth trying that next.

v vocal. fx V Vocal Editor will not open
Xoo replied to John Martelli's topic in Instruments & Effects
That sounds like when thr resource (image etc) files are missing or in the wrong location. A reinstall of X2 should sort that out. -

Rename them to, say, .dl_ and open CbB. It won't scan .dl_ files.
-
Could do that, but that requires more thought and it's easy to make mistakes, and would be slower than it "just working" like that.

Sample rate conversion (no idea if this can cause clipping by the way)?
-
I want (FR here) 3: one for PRV, one for audio in the track view and one for MIDI in the track view (I very often/usually want to move MIDI clips by note/bar, but want to be able to slip edit audio clips at sample level, or at least by significantly less than a bar!).
-
Or just don't bother too much with the names at all - do you really (honest question this) find the names of a clip that important?
-
Technically you won't have more control, just easier control.

Some issues that needs to be rectified as soon as possible
Xoo replied to AdK Studios's topic in Feedback Loop
Because we can do a tremolo now with the tools we have. One does not need control points to do that. Would I like curves like that? Yes. Are they relevant to this specific point? No.- 63 replies

Which is unrelated to doing a tremolo. I agree Bezier type curves would be nice to have.- 63 replies

Cakewalk SHOW when PLUGIN IS BYPASSED FROM WITHIN PLUGIN
Xoo replied to Menki's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I thought the OP meant if it were bypassed in the FX bin - that is a CbB action so should (famous last words!) be easy. -
