One of the things that I appreciate about forums like this is that I can always ask for opinion on some products and get credible and helpful responses. So here is mine: just listen to these samples, they are of General Midi level, I'm pretty sure you all have many much, much better sample packs already. The grooves may seem useful for someone who thinks he's got nothing like that, but they're so generic, definitely not for that money. And today it's so easy to find too many MIDI files, even free ones. Grooves as simple as that I can do off head in no time, I'm sure you can do too. In any case, just think twice.

If you don't have any of the mics from the list, it's still useful when you need to double the same take and make it sound a little bit different.

The support guys wanted me doing a video on it. I didn't do it as I wasn't even sure what are they going to look for since there's just a long note and a simple CC#11 movement recorded with my expression pedal. Nothing really to show off. It works fine on playback but it fails on rendered audio, and that's it. It's been months now and I'm still wondering whether it's a real issue or just me. BTW, Peter can you confirm that Amplitube 4 is still supported (asking literally almost on every subject now, lol)? What exactly is your weird behaviour Grem? I don't recall any issues with dragging midi loops from MODO Drums in Cakelab. Pretty long way around. I wouldn't even be sure where to start with converting CC to NRPN. Are you in Cakewalk? Pretty sure Peter is on Mac, then he might be not able to reproduce this. To me it seems IK stuff is tested more for Mac than Windows.

Please check if you can draw some crescendos and decrescendos as MIDI CC#11 events (in controller pane in the PRV, in Cakewalk) over some notes then export audio (or just freeze), and see if the volume changes are smooth in rendered audio? I'm getting erratic volume jumps instead of crescendos which renders the B-3X useless in Cakewalk for me. If I'm not alone this needs to be fixed asap. I realize this should go into different place in the forum but why not use just any reason for bumping the thread, right?

Anyone having time to check if you write CC#11 crescendos and decrescendos (as MIDI events) in B-3X track and getting smooth volume changes in the exported wave file (or frozen track)? Thx EDIT: Apologies, I should start own topic... bad habit.

That's 40% off the full Core price. I would be more enticed with 40% off the upgrade price. If they give me that option on their startling every New Year's wishlist game then I'll probably go for it. Also that would give me more time I'm typically requiring before spending more than 20-30quid. Don't hold my breath though as this sale tells me they are not much into maximizing their sales, lol, but I don't mind it.
