  1. LOL, yeah you're probably right, never owned any of it so I'll probably have to go buy the T-racks alternative and see how many tracks can I get with it
  2. I remember, like 20 year ago, I had Nero CD burning suite and was able to use it's built-in noise removal tool to first analyze a 10-20sec sample then remove with an offline process, it was soooo good! I had a really bad recorded digital stage piano, low signal with lots of background noise and some loud annoying buzz from a bad wiring. Fortunately there was enough just noise at the beginning before the actual music started so I could take just a sample for analysis, then it cleared the whole take from most of the background noise and completely removed the buzz, leaving piano sound literally untouched. I was speechless. Is there any alternative like that nowadays? Is this Acon suite capable to do same thing?
  3. With IK it was always up to 10 authorizations before the need of contacting support and asking for a reset. I think with the Product Manager now it's even possible to de-authorize but can't say for sure as I don't use PM myself.
  4. Not sure what you mean but Space Delay is an GB option (bottom line) whether it's a buy-in or freebie.
  5. Once you've bought it, make a quick CPU usage test and please report back. I dare you to slap an instance on every track of a 20-40 tracks project and watch the CPU bar progress. Are you running a typical midrange class pc like most of us mortals do? Oh, wait a minute...
  6. My v9 are definitely more stable than my v12 (and eat less resources).
  7. Ok found them in the newsletter corner. Thanks for your replies.
  8. Anyone got this? I've purchased twice, got into the confirmation screen with the order numbers but no email with download link. Sent the email to puremagnetik few days ago and didn't hear from them.
  9. Thanks, that is a great idea if I have alternate place with a fast drive for it. Unfortunately on laptop I have not, would have to put it on an external USB drive which makes it way worse speedwise. I'm considering doing it with my desktop after putting a larger nvme in there cause the current one is already completely clogged ?
  10. For me it was probably the Comprexxor, as I realized it shortly after IK released it that if I master it then it could be the one compressor to rule them all. But also ARC, and Sampletron since I didn't have any 'tron' instrument and this one comes with much more than just the core sound. Besides this, I could complete my T-racks, Amplitube and Sampletank collections altogether thanks to this group buy. It's a deal of the decade for me
  11. You need to move along your upgrade prices Zo. If your sampletron upgrade is 199 then buying it will unlock anything up to 199 as a freebie for you, including upgrades/crossgrades to other software. If you have some jammies then you can make a good deal buying gear credits, that should be around 150-160 and then use your jampoints on top of it. Sweet deal. FWIK the free stuff won't be removed from your account after the group buy finished. But you may loose some jampoints that you gained with software you're selling out.
  12. my laptop is i5-3340M 8gb ram 128ssd and my desktop i7-6700 16gb ram 256ssd both win10 clean install, apart from chrome on laptop both kept out of any extra software to keep them in best shape for music work AT4 is crashing about same on both my systems, I could start using just AT5 but I have too many projects with AT4 in them already as I get exactly the sound I'm looking for from the Fender and Fultone collections in AT4 plus it takes less RAM than AT5 when multiple instances in one project IIRC you can't use the new X-Gears in that version unfortunately, need at least 5.1
  13. I don't mean only high CPU. Yes, it takes a huge slice of CPU for what it is, a guitar amp software, but also huge share of disk space of my tiny SSD. And RAM. As if it was supposed to being used alone in music production, no other synths or processors allowed needed in the project. There is no other piece of software on my PC of that size I recon, apart from the biggest Kontakt libraries. All of my DAWs, virtual instruments, effect processors, all other guitar suites are much smaller. This one is huge. The other problem is occasional crashes starting with AT4. Even the biggest Kontakt libraries are never crashing for me.
  14. I've noticed that typically I can find my coat much easier after typing in some less proper content. ?
  15. Are we now supposed to build a new IK GB thread up from scratch to beat KVR?? ???
  16. Yup! And you'll find them on the list of your free picks... Pretty generous from IK, indeed
  17. Too late, I already bought it ? with my upgrade price of course. Sweet. I think the deal lasts until 10th of October (more-less).
  18. Another great sale I'll probably miss because no end date given ???
  19. That's what I already do with fultone's TERC and it's getting quickly high on CPU and RAM if I want to slap a few instances on some keyboards and guitar tracks, so I'm trying to stay mostly on AT4 to save a bit. But I get it that X-Gear can only work in AT5 now.
  20. Dang, and a bummer. Minor one but still. No, Pete I mean their software alter-ego. It would have been a huge breakthrough if we could use them, and some other like the Fulltone processors, as a singles in our DAW for mixing.
