  1. Question to anyone who knows for sure. If minimum for $75 code is $100, will they allow an $99.99 item then? (I know some shops do)
  2. Oh come on, how is that even abusive?
  3. Post of the week! Is there one for Omnisphere? Waiting patiently until price will reach sub $30 became a little boring...
  4. I think they might be bit better than how we judge them by their look. Couple years ago I'd been given a bit background about how they were made and it appears that the internal processing code had been outsourced to different developers and they just share the same frame to unify the look, but the sound is more personal depending on developer so it seems more polished than if they were made by just one person.
  5. There you have it ?‍♂️ Vol1 version 2.0.0.... Thanks Fleer!
  6. And I see he continues with his excellent art of coding, well done FBM!
  7. In my account I see Digital Synsations: 12.6GB | Version: 2.0.0 | Updated: 2023/01/11 | Release notes: https://s3.amazonaws.com/uvi/Release_Notes/digital-synsations_changelog.pdf I don't use portal, it's direct downloads when I enter My account > My Products. Wonder why the difference in versioning?

    Lars?

The title should say "Where is Larry [big deal]"
  9. It is when the company goes out of business. Take SoundSpot for example... ^^^^Exactly this is my main concern always about these online activations. Like someone said in the later post there is no big loss with $5 Soundspot plugins getting the auth broken (still for me it should never happen to any user) but Reason is already up in hundreds $$$ territory so the yellow light is turning on for me long before decision to buy - what will happen a couple years later? Glad I got away with just a discounted Lite version with an online log-in (that I never use anyway).
  10. You need to be sure you're buying an unregistered serial otherwise there is an iLok transfer fee (not sure of the current amount, typically used to be something along $20-30). I'm collecting single plugins on a deep exclusive sales running by different plugin discounters like the one mentioned above just recently ending.
  11. Thanks for the tip. This effectively made my system free of it starting in the background everytime I run the plugin
  12. I'm starting putting pieces of the whole picture together, now I learned that their native plugins are only ilok dongle or cloud... ok that makes me most probably a one plugin customer ?. Then I found this (about their download manager/background agent/system clutter/etc called UA Connect): "After you complete the installation, UA Connect starts automatically. UA Connect runs in the background so it can activate your audio effects and instruments when needed. If UA Connect is not already running, it starts when you instantiate a native UAD plug-in." Geez... they are trying hard to push me away from their ecosystem, how many background clutters one can run when producing music? If all that is true then I will probably use the plugin twice over the rest of my career, before uninstalling.

  14. Shacks... I knew I will have to compromise comfort going for their sound I read it's possible to authorize offline once plugins are installed but obviously UA Connect is being used for this, not sure what's the philosophy behind it though since you need to go online for the installation.
  15. Question to my online fellas, I'm new to UAD, just bought their Dimension D native plugin. Is there a way to install a single plugins? I spent the whole evening looking up for info but really found nothing besides their UA Connect, is it really the only way? Some devs, like Softube, like to promote their Managers and hide other options like manual or offline installation from user so we often have to dig more to find it.
  16. I would gladly buy just one gear piece for $15 and complete the T-Racks bundle.
  17. Yes, it should shift your whole paradigm into *PRO LEVEL*!
  18. Cubase users should feel like at home
  19. Haven't had a chance to bash Reason yet... summer seems like a good time
  20. "Your submission failed because of an error"...? EDIT: it was successful on second pass
  21. I think that Fabfilter stuff is best suited for pros that do know exactly where to start and where to end with using them. If someone is less experienced, Sonible/Focusrite stuff might be just perfect because of their AI part giving mostly very competent suggestions on start. The iZotope stuff misses chance for being a great alternative for it's high CPU usage and is giving authorization issues sometimes. I'm afraid that most probably I won't afford the ProQ3 anyway so I'm just waiting for Kirchhoff going on under $29 sale... or that I have finally luck with the rare $75 voucher giveaways that some lovely people do here on occasions as to the FF comp and limit I don't see anything special about them beside the great name and that they are solid processors but there are plenty alternatives as good and much more affordable.
  22. Nope, Windows 10 as advised by doctor ?
