Would Wusik One be a good choice for a general purpose sampler for Cakewalk? Any suggestions? Thx.

The way I'm used to work in Cakewalk causes that almost none of the clips starts/ends at the bar lines exactly. That's why I'm heavily dependent on the SNAP BY function and also arranging song parts requires thoughtful clip selections. Along with the ability for siblings (linked clips) this makes a powerful workflow for me that I loved for decades to work with. Making clip selections is a huge part of it.

In each of these situations Cakewalk won't preserve the selection of clips, whether you do ESC key or drop where it's disallowed or if you ctrl+drag-copy the clips and then ctrl+Z. Only if you move the clips and ctrl+Z Cakewalk will back to the selection. That's ok if you copy/move just one or two clips, but if there's a bunch of them that was laboriously selected then it become a major break in the workflow. Dear Alchemists, we need a fix, please!

I also remember just recently someone mentioned that the common way for cancelling any time selection to NONE in most DAWs is the ESC key, alone. Would be handy in Cakewalk too.

I only remember some discussion that I've read some time ago, that Amplitube doesn't have any latency added mainly because it's meant to be used primarily for live performance and the T-RackS plugins for mixing. But I would need others to chime in and confirm, or deny. Don't think there's any difference in sound between both.

I just installed Cakewalk, finally, and love the new improvements! Unfortunately, one small workflow flaw is still present: when dragging a selection of clips with the mouse, if you then decide to cancel before drop (for example you've forgot to change the snap setting from "Snap To" to "Snap By" - happens to me often) after clicking ESC key the whole selection of clips gets lost and only one clip keeps highlighted. This one would be brilliant to solve. Additionally if there would be a way to change this snap TO/BY setting with a keyboard shortcut on the fly during dragging, that would be also a great improvement. Nevertheless awesome job gents, many thanks!

For me that would be ARC, Amplitube leslie and 2 tapies. Of course I'm hoping for the other 2 tapes at the end of group buy too but in case I'll have to choose - anybody have their favorite tapes? Why?

I too tend to freeze the synths as I close the recording phase and start mixing in place, it's quick and convinient, I've found out that I can throw in effects and bounce the frozen tracks many times if needed. Brilliant. If there was a way to go back to these edits after short synth unfreeze (for example you want to change just one note or measure in the original recording) then maybe that could be the solution.

On the group buy website it says "ARC System 2.5 Acoustic Room Correction System plug-in with MEMS microphone €99.99 excl. VAT", from that I assume it does come with the MEMS microphone. It only doesn't say anything about the shipment and I'm wondering how much would it cost in UK. Anybody have a clue whether this new MEMS mic is more (or less) useful for doing some recordings, than the previous one (before MEMS)? It's omni only, so probably makes no sense to have an acoustic guitar or vocal recorded with it.

I'd stay on those Gin and Tonics pretty good while assembling that library. I would throw in some Dominants into that beverage selection.

Wait a minute, is there a problem now to make V9 and V10 installed together on the system? Asking cause I'm just about to install all my software on a new OS from scratch and would most likely wish to avoid the 'surprises'. Before I had only V9, now I have bought few new V10 plugins and for the first time will try to install both together on same system, any suggestions appreciated. Thx.
