Check out possible fixes listed here: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How to fix long load time for Kontakt Reset the Service Center .XML files manually 1. Navigate to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Native instruments/Service Center 2. Move the .xml files in this folder to the trash. 3. After this is done, launch Native Access to create a new set of .xmls and restart your computer. 4. Try opening KONTAKT again to see if the issue has been resolved. Reinitialize the KONTAKT Database 1. Click the Windows start button at the bottom left of your screen. 2. Type "%localappdata%" and click the option that appears. 3. Navigate to the Native Instruments folder. 4. Then delete the following folder: KONTAKT 7: "Kontakt 7" 5. Start KONTAKT 7 in standalone mode (not in your DAW). If KONTAKT still crashes, proceed with the next chapter. Note that once the XMLs and Database has been reset, please be sure to open the Kontakt standalone app first. The first load time may take longer, but once the database has been rebuilt, the load times should be much faster going forward. ~~~~~~~~~~ If the issue persists, first please delete the User Registry entries of Native Access and the TKDaemon: 1. Click the Windows Start button at the bottom left side of your screen. 2. Type "regedit" into the search field, then press Enter to open the Windows Registry Editor. 3. In the Registry Editor, navigate the folder structure to this location and locate the folder for the NI product that is crashing: 4. HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Native Instruments > 5. Delete the "Native Access" and the "NTK" entries Then please clear the Native Access cache by deleting the following folders: 1. Click the Windows Start Button on the bottom left of your screen. 2. Type %localappdata% and press Enter. 3. This will open the following folder location: C : > Users > *Your User Name* > AppData > Local 4. go into the Native Instruments directory and delete the "Native Access" and the "NTK" folders Original posting

Newfangled Audio Our Lowest Price Ever! UPGRADE TO SATURATE FOR $15!
TheSteven replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
??? But it was released years ago and so it must be garbage, right? Newer stuff by less experienced programmers at underfunded companies must surely be releasing superior products. and besides - how can it be the best if I already own it?? You're just depriving me of excuses to enlarge my plugin collection with more items I'll never get around to using. Doesn't that violate the ethics of this forum? -
Questioning Juan: Isn't that kind of what almost every guitar amp sim does? Answering Juanita: ¡Claro! (Oh course!) I haven't yet tried it, probably it uses different algorithms (than an amp sim) and it does a lot more mangling (per demo video).

Happy Holidays to all! ❤️

I saw the title and had to check out the OP. That's when I realized that the title was not "FREE: BACON soundset for Pigments 4 & Analog Lab V" also realized that I should have worn my glasses. It's not that I'm that much of a fan of bacon (sacrilegious viewpoint to some) but just wondered what the patches would sound like. Would they be phat an/or crisp or ? Now I'll never know...

Odd. I'm in California, is it Friday where you're located?

funfriday is no longer fun. It took its toys and went to the paid plugin home. Maybe because today is Thursday?

Maybe I missed installing a previous update?

$8.89 with code FORUM

Lol that's $3.28 cheaper than my upgrade price from PSP42 v1 (v2 is what's being sold)! If I used it more I'd upgrade, otherwise I'll wait till that option is cheaper.

That's been my problem too.

TheSteven replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Too bad they don't offer a completion discount - i.e. if you own one or two complete the set for less $$ As far as the individual items in this bundle... Lowest price deal at the moment is Vento (full version) for $224.50 (have seen it before at this price but never lower) PluginBoutique - Heavyocity || VENTO: Modern Woodwinds + get £8.81 virtual cash BestService - Heavyocity | | VENTO: Modern Woodwinds + get 6.74 bitcoin bonus points or same price from Heavyocity (no bonuses) - note discount coupon from the Essentials version does NOTHING during this sale. NI had this at same price on its sale but sale has expired. Similar deals from all 3 sellers listed above for Novo Strings - $249.50 or Forzo Brass $274.50 -

25% off on all bundles and upgrades! My FabFilter Pro-R 2 - High-end reverb plug-in (Upgrade) is now $44.36** instead of the $69 it was yesterday. Almost a $15 difference / about 36%. Edit: I may have my notes mixed up, my non-BF price may been $59.14 - still the new price is around 25% cheaper. **This is the same price as it was on BF.
