but I think I will just leave everything at v10.
Ditto.
Maybe I'm being overly cynical but this release is perfectly timed for Black Friday and the 2019 Winter sales.
No matter, I'm not in any hurry to upgrade; it's not as if Waves is going to run out of sales. -
only works if you're not currently subscribed to newsletter.

IK Axe I/O
in Deals
2 hours ago, Humberto said:Hello friends,
I think IK Multimedia has changed this offer, because yesterday I registered my AXE audio interface
and I only got Amplitube DELUXE instead of the MAX version. Also, I noticed that even the link that Larry included on his
post sends you to the ZZOUNDS website where it now shows Amplitube Deluxe and not Amplitube MAX
as part of the deal.
Contact IKM support and tell them that at the time of your purchase that the deal was for MAX.
They been very good at helping me with my previous issues.
Edit: If this was a vendor mislisting though you may need contact ZZounds about resolving it.

Is there a decent upgrade path from Miroslav 1?

If you're an Outside In Edition owner - check your emails for something from insessionaudio.com
Received this email:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Dear Riff Generation: Outside In Edition owner,We are pleased to announce that our first Expansion pack is now available.
During the launch of this instrument we promised to continue to add value to your purchase. Please consider this the first of several “thank yous” for your support.
This pack adds 50 guitar-based patches to the instrument. From traditional(ish) acoustic patterns to “how’d they get the guitar to sound like that” riffs, this collection covers a wide range of six-string sounds.
If you'd like to see and hear a demo of the Expansion, we've added a new video HERE.

PCWorld review (ignore prices in article)
Samsung 860 QVO SSD review -
I did pick this up. Don't feel like I wasted 8 bucks but I wouldn't pay more for this.
Last Black Friday I picked up Sonokinetic\The Watchmaker for nice discount (MSRP €29,90)
https://www.sonokinetic.net/products/instruments/thewatchmaker/It has 3k samples as opposed to 8dio's 780
and is much better 'crafted' than 8dio Clock (easier to use, more versatile).
Seems like 8dio Clock does have a some different tones missing from The Watchmaker (bigger clocks - but I haven't totally explored it and might have missed a couple) so there might be a time when I would use it, but normally The Watchmaker's going to be my first pick.-

I have updated successfully by Installation centre does not show any updates to the individual instruments alluded to above.
They had same warning for previous update(s)... so warning is probably old.
Unfortunately the web page doesn't give enough details.

You would have to talk to someone who has a "Profiling" amp to really get the idea of it.
But from what I have gathered a amp such as Kemper takes a pic of you rig from start to finish and gives you that exact sound. If it's an impulse file Idk. But a guy like @Jim Roseberry has that kind of amp and swears by it. Maybe he will come in and give some info from a user.
From my understanding a Kemper Snapshot is a profile taken of a rig with its current settings.
It does this by analyzing different tones at different volumes.
@Jim Roseberry made a comment in another thread that increasing the gain when using a snapshot does not have the same effect as raising the gain on an amp and can crap up the tone.As far as an 'exact' sound - only for the settings used for the capture.
If you have a capture with amp volume set at 3 and another on 10 - you won't get the exact sound of the amp volume set at 6 by raising the 3 capture or lowing the 10 capture. May or may not be using the correct terms but hopefully communicating the concept.-

No issues installing for me.
PLAY 6.1.4 info from http://www.soundsonline.com/Support?section=updates
PLAY 6.1.4 upgrade is for Mac users running OS X 10.7 or higher, and for Windows users running 7 and above.
PLAY 6.1.4 is now available for free to all EastWest customers. If you are a current PLAY 6 user please use the Installation Center to get your update.
PLEASE NOTE: PLAY 6 DOES NOT SUPPORT 32-BIT. IF YOU USE A 32-BIT HOST CONTINUE USING PLAY 4.3.5.
If you are using a Mac and get an "unidentified developer" message when clicking on the "Play Installer 6.1.4.pkg" icon, right-click or control-click on the icon instead and proceed.
IMPORTANT! For Hollywood Pop Brass, Voices of Opera, Voices of Soul, Spaces II, Voices of the Empire and Hollywood Choirs users, PLAY should be updated first and then product instruments should be updated after.
What's fixed and added in PLAY Software Update 6.1.4?
- Added support for Mac OS 10.15 Catalina
- Tempo Sync function fixed for HW Pop Brass phrases

Maybe they 'fixed' it - the max discount I'm getting is 30% ($279).
When I apply SCORE it just swaps out current 30% discount for that one. -
So max discount on Solo Strings is 30% or ?

So Steven, could you clarify ? Did you buy and install the update from a third party- and then get your money back from them when Izotope offered you a free update?
Sorry I misread you post.
No refund involved in my situation.
I bought MPS2.1 through a 3rd party and Izotope honored purchase toward a grace period update.I bought an MPS 2.1 crossgrade from AudioDeluxe on 8/29.
Izotope said I was a little outside of grace period for a free update but was going to honor it. -
I just ran it in MiniHost and pasted in the code to authorize mine.

What a friggin stupid installer, almost just deleted it from my system (which happens if you run installer twice)

Doesn't let you determine where is installs.
Installs to
C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugIns
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3\Harrison\AVA
Root of X64 VST plugin folder defined in your registry
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Harrison\AVA - Installs De-Esser, MultiBand Compressor and Legacy Q versions whether you want them or not.
The free license for the Mastering EQ - ie the ME versions: Harrison_AVA-ME_64bit.dll, Harrison_AVA-ME_32bit.dll, etc.
No explanation of this in documentation, figured that out from sales pages. You shouldn't have to hunt for the install locations or manually have to clean up crap you didn't want installed or have to hunt on a web site just to figure out what you got.
