Fixed.
Them septics across the pond find it difficult enough spelling English words properly, let alone having to translate them first.
Yeah, but I didn't want them to think that I was expecting to be paid for farting.

Is RX 8 Advanced really worth $400-500 more than RX 8 Standard?
I used to think that about Ozone and Ozone Advanced when they first introduced that. It was a mad price difference for what you actually gained and I guess the sales figures soon reflected that so they brought them closer together almost to the point where the Advanced version became a no brainer. RX seems to be the one hold out from the old pricing structure which I guess is because it's more of a "pro" thing so being deductable the price becomes less important and how many bedroom producers really need it anyway? Beyond playing with it to see what it does, I've never really used the standard version TBH.

Stutter Edit is meh but I'd get that too. I'm not sure I'll actually use that.
I would have thought that being able to edit your stutters would be a good thing for an old timer.

This can be done in Melodyne as well but I think this might be a little more convenient.
More convenient than right there on a track within the project ?

Every time this goes on sale I am tempted. Years ago, I was trying to decide between Kontakt and Omnisphere as my first major virtual instrument. With valuable input from Dave @bitflipperand others I decided that Omnisphere was right for me, and I have used it on many completed album tracks since, I love it. Do I need Kontakt as well? Probably not, but what has “need” got to do with it?
I love my Omnisphere, but Omni v Kontakt is apples v oranges, not two versions of the same thing. As someone who owns both, if you don't "need" it I wouldn't consider Kontakt as a standalone purchase to make too much sense when it's only a matter of time before the next Komplete 50% off sale where you'd get much more for not a lot extra.

as far as I know there is still plenty of DAWs that don't even have monophonic audio to midi conversion.
Exactly.

There are still DAWs that can't already do this?
What kind of fool would use a DAW like that? ?

That's a rare thing - a deal that seems to good to be true that somehow isn't.

It's often that way with live performances
There was one particular venue I used to go to a fair bit and I'd gotten to the point where I thought it must be the venue acoustics or something that was responsible for the bass heavy, muddy sound because almost everyone seemed to sound that way, I'm talking major bands of the time, so you'd think they would have pro sound guys who knew their stuff, but then I saw Earth, Wind and Fire in the same venue and it was probably the best sound that I've ever heard anywhere.
So it wasn't the venue.......

This should be moved out of deals. We tend to abuse that part of them forum. It should be about what should we lay our cash down,
I thought this was going to be about Waves or IK.

I was fortunate to see them about 10 years ago in a small venue.
I used to play the Love album to death when it came out, but thought they were a bit disappointing live tbh - sound quality wasn't great though, so maybe more to do with that than the performance itself.
