Does the N3A demo overwrite existing NA or does it install separately? When I got NA I had issues with the installation and had to get workaround from Izotope to solve the problem - can't remember the details now, something to do with vst2 and vst3 conflicts I think - don't wan't to go there again.

Stuff like that happens all the time. Totally ridiculous. I met a guy a few years back who had been running a small haulage business from a yard on land that he owned for 30 years. The council built houses on the land adjacent to it and the following year refused to renew his licence to operate the business because their residents didn't want to live next to a lorry yard.

I wouldn't buy it a the "full" price, but at the offer price it seems like a nice thing to have. Sounds wise I've only scanned the presets do far and I'm not hearing a lot that I couldn't do with what I already own, but the UI is nice which I know shouldn't matter, but it does.

Maybe if I knew anyone that had one, but I don't so there's that...... I could buy the USB from spectrasonics after I pay the upgrade price, but by the time you factor in shipping costs from US I wouldn't be much better off than just buying it as if I didn't have Omni 1. It would be easy enough for them to implement a system whereby upgraders could buy the physical media at an outlet near to them at an upgrade price if they wanted to, but I've asked and told them why but they're not interested so I guess I'll live without it.

I'd be all over it if they would allow an upgrade price for the physical media. Don't know why that should be so difficult really, but there you go. So Omnisphere 1 it is for those whose available d/l speeds mean that they would lose the will to live before they ever got to use v2.
